All the five Friday releases, Dil Kabaddi, Maharathi, Oh My God, Meerabai Not Out and Gumnaam: The Mystry, opened to disastrous collections all over. Now all eyes are on Shah Rukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi releasing on December 12.

The Flop Five: Amongst the five releases, only Dil Kabaddi managed to stay a bit ahead of the rest. But again its collections weren't something that could make the makers happy. This Woody Allen rip off (Husbands and Wives) managed to garner just about 20-25% opening during the weekend. On Friday, the opening was mere 10-15% but it managed to pick up marginally to 20-25% on Saturday and Sunday. The film's opening weekend collections were reported as 15-20% in Cinemax, 20% in Adlabs, 20-25% in PVR and 30% in Fun Cinemas.

Maharathi, adapted from a Gujarati play by the same name couldn't replicate the play's success. Though it boasted of a great cast, the film saw a poor Friday opening with just 10-15% collections. The opening weekend collections of Maharathi were reported as – 10-15% in Cinemax, 15-20% in Adlabs, 10-15% in PVR and 15% in Fun Cinemas.

The long delayed, Meerabai Not Out finally managed a release but was panned from all quarters. Shows had to be cancelled on Friday due to poor attendance. It opened to 0-10% collections on Friday. Weekend collections opened at 5-15% in Cinemax, 5-10% in Adlabs, 10% in PVR and 5-10% in Fun Cinemas.

Oh My God was a small film made in a shoestring budget of Rs 3 crore, which surprisingly managed to cover its making cost. It opened to a pathetic collection on an average of 0-10% in almost all the multiplexes.

Gumnaam: The Mystry was the weakest amongst the five and could not even manage a multiplex release. This long-in-the-making film could not manage 10% collections in the single screens anywhere in India.
