This episode's dedicated to Bhaalachandra!!
Shreeranga Raanade-aka-Dr.Saamant is just leaving the Shaastri vaaDaa when out comes running Bhaalachandra. Meeting Ranade saaheb for the first time, he tells him that the previous three officers had all their requirements taken care of by him, he emphasizes that if a man of his stature goes to the market shopping for 'any' requirement, it will look bad, so all he has to do is to remember Bhaalachandra. Shreeranga Raanade is astounded by the boldness of this man, and obviously Mr. Bhaalachandra has managed to enter the book of Raanade's 'to watch out for' people!
[ Bhaalachandra {Aanand Shinde} has acted really well in this particular episode! You would want to hate him and yet feel taken by his put on charms.. heh heh!]
Since Bhaalachandra has given his wife's gold necklace (what is it called?) to Indumati, the wife cries and cries. So Raghunathpanta Shastri who cannot bear his daughter crying, immediately takes his entire household by storm. All servants lined up etc. Obviously the thief is not found.
Bhaalachandra, smart ass, vows that whoever has committed this heinous crime will not go unpunished and that he himself will find the culprit.
Raghunathpanta Shastri also hints at others in the household resorting to stealing the piece of jewelry.. obviously pointing at his son.. Mahaadev.. which the cunning son-in-law catches immediately and speaks out aloud..
[very watchable scene this!]đ
He says, " Panta, are you hinting at Mahaadev?? No, no no.. I can understand that he is ill-tempered,đĄâŚ. eccentric.. But he would not go to this level"
His wife, Bhaagirathi's repulsed by her husband's audacity.. can't stop herself from refuting the allegations made onto her dearest brother.. etc.
đ¤˘
Raghunathpanta Shastri tells his daughter Bhaagirathi, that she needn't worry about her gold necklace so much when she's got a DIAMOND for husband.. đ
đ
And when Bhaagirathi doesn't know how to react to that, she runs out crying .. out of the pain this Bhaalachandra â Heeraa- has caused her.. her father warns/tells Bhaalachandra to take care of his wife properly.. "She's my life [?? ???? ??? ?? ????? ???, ?????? ??????? ????? ????? ??? ????? ?????.] I can't bear to see tears in her eyes.
đ
Mahaadev's talking with Damu.. his revolutionary friend about the jewelry piece being stolen from the house.. and that he's [obviously] suspecting his brother-in-law, Bhaalachandra.
What I didn't understand was..
Was this the first time ever that Bhaalachandra has given such a pricey gift to an outside woman? Coz he seems quite a bighhh womanizer.. then how so?
