Thank God it was a bad dream. I did not want yura to be a piece of mockery in front of all Mahal servants.

But I think we are too harsh with CR in the context of Rudra. The fact is whatever she is doing is only for Rudra. It is another thing that she is doing this through wrong means and by instilling wrong values in him. But Rudra's confusion is very apt. He is stuck between two conflicting extremes. He is never told/taught what is good or what is bad. So far whatever he used to think is right now seems wrong and vice versa. And the beauty is that he is realizing this by his own experience. Now his conscience is testifying something else which otherwise he would not have believed. So his dilemma is quite natural and he is really like 'pinjre ke panchi'

You know Beena you give scope to think an aspect more broadly, and we too come out of our shells.

One thing I felt little odd, when yudi embraces rani in corridor, as anybody could have seen them and actually in his dream it was the reason to get RS furious, because RS had seen them in each others' arms. But I understood that he was so worried about Rani's well being that he forgot about everything else and could not control his anxiety. He wanted to ensure that his rani is absolutely alright is very much there.

But I guess Bhanu ( I am sure to some extent) has witnessed the whole yura scene. Now I am eager to know whether she has overheard the conversation or she has only seen them talking (not heard anything). Now the curiosity is how she will use it for her benefit. Pata hai aoundhe munh giregi. 😃

When she saw RB going towards dining hall, bhanu decided to take advantage of that moment. Bhanu knew that all servants and all shahi members would be busy in dining hall so nobody would see her. She and kali sneaked into RB's room, though she was trembling with fear but did not want to miss this golden opportunity laid ahead her. She looked around in the room then slowly opened the bag, in which she had hid that snake. The moment she opened the bag snake slowly slid outside the bag and hid near the corner table. Seeing snake had taken her position in the room, they slowly went outside the room. She was brimming with joy and rejoicing over their plan and now the only thing they had to do was to wait for the outcome of their master plan.

Bhanu was under delusion that they would keep this non-poisonous snake in RB's room and RB would be very scared and frighten seeing snake, and in nick of the time bhanu would come and save RB from snake and poison RB's mind that only rani come to her room and rani might be taking revenge from RB for her insult. Bhanu knew that once she would able to instigate RB then nobody would able to save rani from RB's anger.

Kali was unable to hide her happiness murmur in bhanu's ear: bua ab kyaa hoga muje to abhi se ye dikh rahaa hain ki rani ko dhakke maar ke mahal se nikaal diyaa jaayegaa bua kitnaa mazaa aayegaa.

Bhanu: kali...dhire se warnaa diwaaro ke bhi kaan hote hain aur thoda sabr aur phir rani ki bachchi ko koi nahi bachaa paayegaa.....ab hum RB ke aane kaa intzaar karte hain yahaa aad main chip kar ...agar kisi ne dekh liyaa to hume hi ees mahal se nau do gyaaraah hona padegaa.....

After meeting rani, yudi was feeling delighted and light hearted.

"jab subahaa woh oothaa to ooski haalat aisi thee jaise koi bhavraa galti se koi bagiyaa ke bajaaye kisi ke ghar main bhatakataa huvaa chalaa gayaa ho aur tab woh kaisa bahaavraa ho jaataa hain. Fad fadaa oothtaa hain......woh bhi to tadap oothaa thaa.......lekin jab oosne rani ko sahi salaamat dekhaa to jaise ooski jaan main jaan aagayi thee.....jaise bhavraa apni jaan bachaa kar wapas bagiyaa main aajaataa hain aur mahekte phool ko dekh kar jaise oos ke aahos main samaa ne ko tadap jaataa hain oosi trahaa woh bhi apne aapko nahi rok paayaa aur rani ko gale se lagaa liyaa........chahak oothaa woh........."

When he shared his feelings with his mom he felt his mom was also very happy for him. His mom's support was his great strength. He knew that his mom would bourn him out when the crucial time will arise. However, he knew his mom could not physically support him but in disguised of her ASHIRVAAD, her support would be always with him and that was enough for him to face any hurdles in his life.

After meeting his mom he felt before going to dining hall he should meet rudra and should see whether he was alright or not. However, yudi felt that rudra was still in pain, but rudra assured him that he was feeling much better now. After chatting with him for a while yudi went to dining hall to join other shahi member on breakfast table.

Seeing yudi in very good mood CR could not stop herself but to ask him the reason.

"jaise baaz ki nazar humeshaa apne shikaar par gadi raheti hain aur woh apne shikaar ki har hilchaa par kadi nazar rakhtaa hain oosi tarahaa Cr ki nazar har waqt yudi par raheti thee ki kabhi koi maukaa mil jaaye"

CR: kyaa baat hain kunvar aap bahut khush lag rahe hain?

Yudi smiled gently: aisi koi khaas baat nahi hain bas hum abhi maa se mil kar aa rahe hain aur phir hum rudra se bhi mile.....aur hume jaan kar khushi huyi ki woh ab theek mahesoos kar rahe hain.....warnaa kal oonki haalat dekh kar hum chintit ho gaye the.

CR: haan hum bhi paresaan ho gaye the........lekin aaj oonhe theek dekh kar humaari bhi chintaa dur ho gayi.

Yudi looked around and then asked CR: pitaaji abhi tak nahi aaye......?

CR: haa hum bhi yahi soch rahe hain....badi der ho gayi oonhe....woh BR se milne jaane waale the...lekin woh to kabki baat hain abhi tak to oonhe aa jaanaa chaahiye thaa.

Yudi: pitaaji maa se milne gaye the?...lekin hum to maa se mil kar aa rahe hain humne to oonhe waha nahi dekhaa.......

RS entered dining hall: kyaa baat hain lagtaa hain humaare baare me hi kunvar baat kar rahe hain.

Yudi: pranaam pitaaji.....

RS: jite rahiye

Yudi: hum aapke baare main hi baat kar rahe the pitaaji.......CR kah rahi thee aap maa se milne gaye the?

RS: haan aur woh aaj bahut khush lag rahi thee.......humne aapko BR ke kamare se nikalte dekhaa aap jaldi main lag rahe the.........kyaa baat hain ....aisi kaunsi baat aapne BR se kardi oonkaa to jaise chaheraa chamak rahaa thaa

Everybody took their sit and mean while CR noticed that RB was about to enter dining area and CR was scared that RB might have forgotten about her vrat. CR looked in the direction of yudi and RS but they were busy discussing their meeting with BR.

Yudi: nahi pitaaji woh hum maa se nikki ke baare main baat kar rahe the.....( yudi's heart was pounding very fast. The suggestion he was going to put forward he was sceptical about RS's reaction on that.

RS was surprised: achha? Aisi kaun si baat aap ne kahi hum bhi to jaane.

Yudi slowly and keeping stress to all syllabuses: woh hum aap se bhi baat karne hi waale the kyunki hume aapse rajaamandi chaahiye thee.

RS was listening to him carefully and CR was pretending that she was also attentively listening what yudi had to say but her sole attention was on RB.

RS: kis baare main kahiye ....aisi kyaa baat hain?

Yudi: woh hum soch rahe the ki nikki saaraa din mahal main akele hoti hain....aur oonhe kitaabe padhne kaa bahut shokh hain aur ...kitaabe padh kar hi woh apnaa samaya vyatit karati hain....to humne sochaa..ki

In that split second he felt if he would had any magical power to hypnotise his father and made him consent on his proposal, but he knew that it was not possible. He himself was surprised on his weird thought.

Yudi felt dryness in his mouth and words were creating lumps in his mouth though he did not loss his courage and told RS: ki....kyun naa hum ek computer nikki ke liye le aaye taaki woh saare jaha ke baare main jaan sake.....aur apni tanhaayi mita sake aise bhi oonki jindagi badi tanhaa hain.....(yudi felt sharp pain while saying those words because he knew that he was using nikki's name for rani's benefit he felt being very selfish he was using her sister's sorrow as an excuse)

RS: hmmm aur?

Yudi was confused because he was actually not ready for any kind of response from RS.

He thought for a while then: aur hum oonhe computer shikhaayenge woh aachhi achhi kitaabe padh paayengi aur oonke bhi jivan main thoda badlaaw aayegaa.

RS starred at yudi for a while than his facial expressions changed from frown to happiness and with affirmative tone: shaabaas kunvar.......hume khushi hain ki aapne apni bahen ki jindagi ke liye kuchh socha.........aur aap ko humaari rajamandi chaahiye naa..............achha theek hain le aayiye computer oonke liye aur hum to kahete hain aaj hi leke aayiye.........aur internet wageraah jo bhi aavshyaka chij ho woh sab oonke liye uplabth kijiye.......

Yudi was overjoyed by his dad's answered. Not in his dream he had imagined that his dad would give permission to him very easily. He was ready for discussion on that matter with RS but that was not needed and that was pleasant surprise for him. Yudi was on cloud nine that now rani's study could start from tomorrow and he had decided that with rani he would teach computer to Nikki also so, in her free time she could also learn things of her choice. He thought after breakfast while going to office he would share this happiness with saksh and would ask him to arrange everything for Nikki and rani. Yudi smiled to himself for this another achievement towards rani's education.

However, CR was stunned seeing RS's different avatar and shocked how easily RS gave his consent for Nikki but CR was more troubled for RB than anything else right now. CR tried to sign RB but she was not paying any attention towards CR. CR was anxious that if RB would sit and start eating than RS would think ill about her. CR's evil mind started thinking fast about how to salvage situation before RB do any blunder.

RB: pranaam pitaaji ....pranaam chhoti maa

RS: jiti rahiye..khush rahiye....

Before anybody says something CR came up with plan and seize the moment: dekhiye naa rajaji RB maan hi nahi rahi hain jid leke bethi hain...

RB was confused what CR was talking about. RS was also looking at CR in confusion.

RS: kyaa baat hain CRji.

CR: are aaj RB kaa vrat hain humne oonhe kahaa ki aap puma kare aaraam kijiye. lekin woh jid karke bethi hain ki aaj woh sab ko apne haath se naastaa parosengi.aur ooske baad puja karne jaayengi.

RS : hume sun kar achhaa lagaa..Chhoti rani...eese kahete hain sanskaar....bado ki seva karnaa bhi to puja hi hoti hain.

RB tried to maintain her facial expression but inside she was boiling with anger. Her stomach was grumbling with hunger and on top of that CR had indirectly ordered her to serve food to all. She was controlling her anger and giving gentle smile to all while serving everyone.

RB: chhoti maa kunvar rudra ne naastaa kar diyaa? Agar nahi kiyaa to hum oonhe oonke kamare main jaake de aate hain.

CR did not like RB's offer even though she politely told RB: aap kitnaa dhyaan rakhti hain sabkaa...RB.....lekin aap chinta mat kijiye humne kunvar rudra kaa naastaa paheli hi nokaro ke haath kamare main bhej diyaa hain........

RS: RB aap bhi bethiye abhi ....kyaa huvaa aap naastaa nahi kar rahi hain to app baate to kar hi sakti hain?

RB took her place beside yudi. Yudi was felicitated by turn of events that's why he did not give attention to anything else.

RS: kunvar.....aap soch rahe honge humne aasaani se aap ko computer lane ke liye rajamandi dedi...kyun?

Yudi flustered by this sudden question, in that moment he felt his dad could read his mind. He was flabbergasted by his own thoughts and looked at RS in confusion.

RS: are aap aise kyun dekh rahe hain hume? baat dar asal ye hain ki aaj hum bahut khush hain agar aapne kuchh aur bhi maangaa hota to hum woh bhi khushi khushi aapko de dete.............

One silly thought passed through his mind that if he would have known he would have asked his love rani from his dad. However he lowered his eyes fearing whether his dad might read his thought.

RS paused for a while gave gentle glanced to yudi and continued: kyun kuchh aur bhi maangaa chaahte the?,,,,,,,,,

Yudi was mystified but he did not reveal his emotions on RS: nahi pitaaji aur kuchh nahi.

CR: are aisi kyaa baat hain jo aap itne khush hain aaj hum bhi to jaane.

RS: bas kuchh khaas nahi aaj.......BR ki haalat main sudhar dekh kar hume aashaa ki kiran nazar aa rahi hain ki woh theek ho jaayegi....

CR was not delighted by this news but she pretended: bas hum to har roj bhagvaan se yahi prarthna karte hain ki humaari didi theek ho jaaye......

RS: lagtaa hain aapki duva kaam kar rahi hain..

CR thought if my prayer would have worked than BR should have died by now.

CR: bas hum to eesi din kaa intzaar kar rahe hain ki didi pahele ki tarahaa ghum phir ne lage.

RS: hume lagtaa hain aap jo nayi naukraani layi hain gaanv se woh BR ki achhe se seva kar rahi hain

Though yudi did not like when RS told rani servant but he did not give attention to that, he only heard the word of praise for rani. He was satisfied when his dad praised rani's effort.

"kyunki woh jaantaa thaa ki gulaab ke saath kaante bhi hote hain aur agar gulaab ko saraah naa ho to kaanto ko nazar andaaz karnaa padtaa hain"

RS: CR aap oos naukraani ko bulaayiye hum oonse kuchh kahenaa chahte hain.

Yudi was amused by RS's wish to have word with rani. Somehow he felt his dad was behaving very different today. He thought may be his dad indeed was very happy seeing improvement in BR's health.

CR took deep breath and tried to suppress her rising irritation. RB starred at CR in displeasure. Rani's praise was driving her mad and she was irritated beyond all bearing.

CR ordered to call rani in dining hall. Yudi was anxious to see rani's reaction when RS would praise her, RS's word of appreciation for rani left yudi with broad grin.

In kitchen when other servant informs rani that RS would like to see her at once, rani's heart skipped beat. Rani's face was tight with anxiety and her stomach was in a knot. Slowly she head towards dining hall. She was downcast and her leg was shaking with fear. Lots of thoughts rushed to her mind and with all thoughts her perturbed mind was racing wildly.

"ooskaa dil jor jor se dhadak rahaa thaa .....subahaa jab woh yudi se milke aayi thee tab se oose ajibsaa dar lag rahaa thaa ki kisi ne oonhe dekh liyaa thaa aur jab rajaji ne oose milne ke liye bulaayaa to maano oose lagaa ki ab oose koi nahi bachaa paayegaa.......ek havaa ke joke se jaise sukhaa pataa kaap jaataa hain oosi prakaar woh bhi kaap rahi thee......"

With quivering voice: pranaam rajaji......

Rani did not even dare to look in yudi's direction. If she would have looked at yudi her anxiety would have lesson seeing yudi's delighted face. Yudi was fervently starring at her. He could feel rani's palpitation by only observing her.

RS: tumhi woh.....naukraani ho naa jo BR ki dekhrekh karti ho?

Rani stammered nervously: ji.....ji ...rajaji.

RS starred at rani with stone face: tumse se hume ye ummid nahi thee......

Rani was trembling with fear, her eyes glistened with tears. Seeing her in despair yudi felt sorry for her but he knew that once RS will reveal the truth and praise her she would be overjoyed. Yudi was waiting for that moment and wanted to see that glow of happiness on her radiant face. He knew that, seeing her elated would be priceless moment.

RS: hume tumse ummid nahi thee ki tumhaari seva se BR ki tandurasti main sudhaar aayegaa.

Rani was stunned hearing those words, she could not believe her ears, and she was amused.

RS: tum jis tarahaa se BR ki seva kar rahi ho agar BRji theek ho gayi to hum tumhe bahut badaa inaam denge......

Yudi was passionately starring at rani forgetting his surrounding but CR was watching him and seeing him happy shadow of annoyance passed over her face. She was watching RS and yudi in displeasure. RB was also boiling with anger. She was trying her best to control her rising temper.

Rani : ji shukriyaa rajaji .......aur BRji ki seva karnaa humaaraa farz hain aur hum sirf apnaa farz adaa kar rahe hain........

RS: phir bhi eesi tarahaa BR ki seva karti raho hum oonhe jald se jald achha hote huve dekhnaa chaahte hain....aur aaj hume aashaa ki ek kiran nazar aayi hain aur hum bahut khush hain...ab tum jaa sakti ho......

Rani could feel yudi's stare but she did not stare at him." jab havaa kaa jokaa kali ke saath kheltaa hain tab woh kali hi oos havaa ke joke ki maadaktaa ko mahesoos kar paati hain aur koi nahi jaan saktaa ki kali kyun khushi se joom rahi hain. Havaa ke joke ko koi dekh nahi pataa lekin ooskaa sparsh madahosh kar deta hain" She could imagine yudi's ecstasy, she blushed imagining about yudi's happiness and that ray of happiness did not remain hidden from yudi's eyes.

"Kyaa pal thaa ye kisi ki aankho se khushi jalak rahi thee to kisi ki aankho se krodh ke angaare.....kisi ke liye pyaar kaa dipak jal rahaa thaa to kisi ke liye nafrat ki chingari.....woh lamhaa to ek lamhaa thaa lekin oos lamhe main mahesoos hone wali bhavnaae vibhinn thee. ......kahete hain....paristhiti ko dekhne kaa jo apnaa najariyaa hota hain woh oos paristhiti ko dukhdaayi ya sukhdaayi banaataa hain..............aur har ek vyakti kaa apnaa apnaa najariyaa hota hain........

Jaise prithvi par hote din raat ke liye prithvi kaa jo apnaa paribhraman kaa svaabhav hota hain woh jimmedaar hota hain.....suraj ki wajah se prithvi par din ya raat nahi hote....suraj to apni jagaa par kaayam hota hain.....sthir......agar prithvi ki bhraman kakshaa se bahar nikaal kar dekho to sirf ujaalaa hi ujaalaa hain phir bhi hum din aur raat kaa anubhav karte hain woh prithvi ke svabhaav ki wajah se hain........ek hi pal main jab prithvi ke ek kone main din hota hain to dusre kone main ghanaa andheraa.........oosi prakaar manushya jo sukh aur dukh kaa anubhav kartaa hain woh bhi ooskaa svabhaav hi hota hain.......warnaa sochiye ek ghatit hoti paristhiti ek manushya ke liye sukhdaayi to dusre ke liye dukhdaayi kaise ho sakti hain..........agar manushya apne sochne ka najariyaa hai badal de aur har ek paristhiti kaa haste huve svaagat kare to duniyaa se bahot saare dukh mit sakte hain........lekin manushya ko dukhi hone main lagtaa hain param aanand aataa hain eesi liye har waqt woh sirf vitambanaao ke baare main hi sochtaa rahetaa hain......aur dookhi hota rahetaa hain....ya dusro ko dukhi kartaa rahetaa hain......aisi hi kuchh haaalaat the mahal main rahene waale kuchh logo ke."

CR noticed RB's frustration and CR thought before RB over react she should send RB to her room.

CR: RBji aap bhi thak gayi hongi aur aapko puja bhi karni hain to aap apne kamare main jaayiye hum aapki puja ka saaman wahi bhejte hain.

RB: jo aagyaa CRji.....hum chalte hain......phir hume BRji ke paas bhi jaanaa hain.....

Before going away RB cast sidelong glanced towards yudi who had trapped her in this vrat performing ritual. A slight spasm crossed RB's face. However, yudi was lost in his own happiness and did not even notice what RB was feeling right now. Blood rushed on her face but RB control her anger for a while and left the dining hall and stormed into her room. She threw her purse on bed and rushed to the bathroom to wash her face. In her anger she did not notice snake coiled in the corner of the bed.
