Hi,
Not to spark off any controversy, and no offence to her fans, but does anybody else think that priyanka chopra can't connect with audience through her characters?
She comes across as wooden; her emotions don't move me. Sometimes, I feel she sucks the fun out of the movie... had it not been for male characters/their energy, I could not have sat through some of her movies.
Ex. the movie with abhishek as con-mon (forget the name)... abi's character was lively, kept things going.
Ex. krissh, she couldn't match hritik's energy or krish's playfulness
Ex. don with srk .. well, I din't really like srk in the movie either (except for the last scene), but still priyanka failed to move me.
Ex. Okay, am getting stoned for saying it, but just saw fashion.... the characters or the movie didn't engage me. priyanka cries, shouldn't she or the story move the audience?? And I get moved/cry easily.
I can't say what it is... if someone else who feels the same point out what is missing in her performance, I would like.... Again, not saying she is a bad actress, but her presence kills the mood in movies I mentioned above... she seems like she is not engaged with the characters within the movie itself?????
Again, not my intention to offend her fans! Just feels good to get it off my chest.😆
