Hello....I am an avid viewer of CID since the time when it started its journey way back nearly eleven years ago....CID was a show which breaks all the tradition & rule of Indian Television...& makes a thriller so popular which sets a new trend...it was a show which could be watched by all kind of viewers...truely from eight to eighty...all could enjoy it....it had such an appeal...that a whole family could enjoy it..with total enthuse & zeal...because everytime it used to deal with the social issues...the goons & imposters, decoits, cruel murderers,kidnappers, terrorist..all the wanted criminals were chased & at last caught by the elegant CID team....the social issue like abusing of housewives too had been shown in CID in such a superb way..that we all just used to bow it with respect & awe...& that time...we just couldn't even miss it for a moment....I am mentioning about some cases which tried to show some excellent messege..--one in which a dairy had been stolen which contained the names of the witnesses....one in which the kidney exporter gang had been caught...some truely excellent bomb cases...some excellent drug cases...the case in which Salunkhe had been trapped & brilliantly saved by the CID team....even each & every cases where the officers had been trapped & at last saved by the team....particularly a case...where ACP became blind...to do the encounter with an imposter....so when friday used to approach....we started to shiver in thrill....but........Sadly..& very sadly.....now a days we don't feel the same thrill...the same zeal & enthuse...even 5% of that time...but we can't help it....because in the past two years..the standard of CID had been lowered so rapidly that we have only tears in our eyes....how can such a wonderful thriller has become so funny???the scarcity of a good story(forget any excellent storyline like the past..even a decent believable story we can't find),the fuuny dialogues & elongated funny ridiculous scenes to attract the viewers,the lack of knowlege about the characters of CID,showing the officers violent, hostile,& coercive,insensitive & cruel, the main cause of its deterioration...also...now a days we see only the scandals & fighting among the family members, or love cirles..which doeasn't attract us so much which a social issue oriented case used to appeal...now a days not a single wanted criminal had been caught....why CID suddenly starts to give emphasis more on glamour & fashion oriented cases???? the middle class people never could relate the cases with themselves....industrialists, fashion models, actresses, rock stars, or if not all these..then some unbelievable ghost stories.......& the unacceptable & abominable behaviour of the officers...threatening every people whoever comes in the process of investigation, rough rude & inhuman behaviour , some extremely funny & stupid scenes in the forensic...are these all for which still now we sit infront of the television to see our favourite CID??(???? is it still favourite,can we say??? I can't at least though I wish with my whole heart to call CID as my favourite show..cause this is the only show I watch in TV)....if we have to see the racks & ruins of CID like this...then I am requesting that please stop the show with dignity...& start showing the repeat show since its inception...it will be more interesting & thriller for us....because we dont want to see such a merciless death of CID....& remember..the killers are you by yourself...we are not killing it.....we love it from the bottom of our hearts....U wish to love...but simply can't......please take a look in the past episodes to see how rapidly the standard had been reduced.....
anyway....thanks for entertaining us for so long....but please dont agonise us like the way u r doing.....either raise the standard like the past ones...or simply take a break...so that we can sigh ....

I have been an ardent viewer/fan of this show. So far I don't remember if i have missed any episode of CID, even if i did we had backup videos from IF. The episodes you have mentioned in particular are undoubtedly the golden episodes of CID, the mass could easily relate to this show and wait for it as impatiently as one waits for any superstar's arrival. But it was before when CID Most wanted started. the cases were of better standard, these days the cases focus on glamour/glitz as u have mentioned. Ghost/haunted houses which doest convey any good msg(according to me). They have almost similar contents and sometimes it seems that the director is in a hurry to wrap up the case. Instead of more suspense they have added new elements like Freddy's jokes which gets on my nerves, Saluke-ACP's baseless sqabbles..it just doesnt take us anywhere..instead it spoils the seriousness of the atmosphere. Sometimes I feel i am watching Comedy circus.

BP singh must have witnessed this himself that the show had lost its viewers, and our section which used to be filled with some enthusiastic detectives have deserted this place.I really really miss those episodes and those days at CID section. I hope the writers work hard on the script and give us smth which is worth watching..hopefully then the show can get back its lost charm.
