Women rock: Sukirti Khandpal
Nov 10, 2008
Sukirti Khandpal talks on our column, 'If I could, I would', pertaining to a social cause that she would fight for…
"I would fight for women's cause in our society. Women don't get the respect they deserve. I would fight for the education of girl children. Career has been an important part for the women of today; women are so dynamic; they head the house, they are much more than just home makers. I personally am not a very bold girl but it was only after I started working that I gained a lot of confidence and learnt to be independent. It is important that every woman realizes her potential and stands on her own feet. And they are capable of it, just that they need the push. Women truly rock!"
Way to go young lady; three cheers to womanhood.
