ZEE TV axes 'Waaris' after just three months

ZEE TV will be axing 'Waaris', barely after three months of launch, according to TellyChakkar.

Confirming the news, ZEE TV programming head Ajay Balwankar told TellyChakker, "Yes, Waaris is going off air but there is still sometime for it to happen. The date of the show's wind up is uncertain due to the strike. This show was an experiment which did not work. The story was very good but somehow it has not picked up."

There have been rumours aplenty of some friction between the channel and the production house - Smriti Irani. This friction began after the parallel lead Yuvraj Malhotra was sacked by the production house.

Okay; the show's taken a downturn but that really is sad news....It so could have been saved.

just totally confused its wierd it has just started while i am sure there are loads of other shows...which have boring dipping storylines go on and on and on........something that has just started cannot be judged...i🤔

indian television seems to be getting itself all twisted around on the game of trps...about time it sorted itself out......diabolical to be perfectly honest
