That will be a very bad marketing strategy for Zee. If they think they can penetrate the conservative Pakistan market by making a Pakistani female the winner, they will have to learn it the hard way. That will cause a disaster for women there by very strong male opponents. The end result will be Zee being banned from there.

I agree that despite all the conservatism, there are still many female singers who have come up and done well. But that was during an era when women had a better chance to come up and Indo-Pak relations were much stronger - during the reign of Benazir Bhuto and Indira Gandhi.

I agree with oldblackjoe - Sara has some nasality issues. No offense. I am saying it as I would criticize any singer when it comes to singing, and nothing to do with the personality here. The nasal tone makes some songs sound really good whereas it destroys the beauty of some others. If she chooses the right songs, then she will be playing it safe. For example, when she sang "It's rocking", that song turned out to be real lousy with her nasal voice. But when she sang Masha Allah, it turned out to be better. It's how the originals were - if they were created with no nasality, adding one would make it sound awful than awesome. The same reason why I didnt enjoy her Shakkalakka Baby - I have heard live performance of Vasundhara Das and Sara didnt come anywhere near the original.

lol i dont like shakalaka baby anyway lol

but anyway sara has been eliminated..

so i guess the janta(or atleast zee production house) agrees with me that sara was tooo "uuh" or "sufi"..............

Take it easy. There are those that love her and they must be very disappointed too. Sara has some good songs that she sang well too.

Now Zaheer has to continue to fight on.

yea .. i guess.. but istill prefered kaushik and was angry wen shujaat tarun debo and asma was in the top 10 and kaushik wasn't so i'm always happy when they get loew scores or eliminated😈

LOL how funny! kaushik was so mediocre he wasn't even considered for top ten slot. and poor guy couldn't even remembers his songs. what a nervous wreck

who the heck would want to remmeber a himesh song anyway..

anyway he had a lovely voice and couls sing melodious hfm and thats what matters, not some classically trained one genre singer like asma or tarun

It is not just Kaushik, even Tarun and Asma had forgotten their lines on the show. Then there are some who will fill in instead of stopping the song, and judges always catch that. I agree Kaushik didnt have so much of a stage presence, but his voice was really good and he deserved to be in top ten if Asma could be one among the top ten. In fact, if Asma can be even in the show, anyone can be in top ten!! But hey, even Mitika and Naina who are both way better than Asma, Sara and Tarun also didnt make into top ten - so the show is a completely "fake" one.

If Kaushik was that bad, Shankar wouldnt have offered him to join his team the very next day itself, and later Shankar mentioned that Kaushik has joined his team now. 😃

Secondly, according to your profile, it says you were born in 1936?

do you expect anyone to believe you that you are 72 years of age?

The manner in which you speak doesn't suggest such a notion.

It would have been better for you to not list your age at all, if you wanted to lie about it.
