Everytime i log onto india-forums and see the new topics talking about how the judges are partial towards a few jodis and are unfair, I honestly don't think that is right.. Infact today when i was seeing the episodes when one of the jodis performed the contrast round without the concept they got marks for their dance and when abhijeet and his wife performed even though they had the concept they were given lower scores..
In the first episode when the jodis danced the judges made a certain judgement and set a standard for each of them on their own capacities and now they give them marks according to their own standards rather then the other jodis.. if abhijeet got lower score its because the judges have seen the best in them and according to their own standards they failed.. i honestly dont think the judges are partial. and specially when they dont even know these celebrities and prolly its the first time they are even interacting with each other through the show..
please post your comments as well..

I agree... and even about Farah being too strict... I mean I know at times she may be way too much, but then we have to understand, she's spending her time, coming to judge a show... not a children's play... especially because that's her field, and she's been in that for years now... I think she knows what she's saying, she may be harsh, but is always almost right!!! So I find them pretty good at their work till now....
Cheers!!

I agree. They're giving comments according to each of their standards, and points also. They may come across as biased towards whomever, but at least they don't show it in their points or comments about dance.

i agree.. farah has to be strict.. cos this is what the show wants of her.. to be strict.. this is her field and she has to be rude.. thts why Saroj khan and Vaibhabhi Merchant were pretty rude when they judged as well, this is what they are getting paid for..

I absolutely fail to see the connection between being a choreographer judging a dance show and being rude to get your point across to the jodis!!!!
Frankly - as far as i see it, constructive criticism should always be welcome but you can happily get your point across without having to be downright rude. Not many have the skill in pointing out mistakes without hurting the sentiments of receivers of their criticism. in fact in reality shows it has become the rule rather than the exception. If a large chunk of the audience finds Farah rude - think what happens to the jodis. And such statements can have exactly the opposite influence and be demotivating.
Just as it takes a lot of hardwork, sweat and some amount of talent to become good dancers, it also takes some real soul searching and self analysis to become superlative judges. Ms Khan can do well to remember that, i suppose. There is no questioning Farah's credentials to judge the show.
But a public figure must know how to interact in public - wit and rudeness are not one and the same thing.

This show and the judges are lacking in so many ways with the dancing and scoring of certain Jodis....I dont understand from the first ep. of Jodi # 1 receiving their scores...when I can see mutiple mistakes in coordination and yet they get high scores and comments. And the others who have the same mistake in coordination are being condemed more....with low scores....
If you look closely coordination issues with that Jodi and yet they come out with the close to highest...yes they have energy...but when you look at the overall...u can see more mistakes than the judges...

I agree with you.... Check Nach baliye officlal website...... Many viewers there has raised same question.
Though Vineet and Tanushree are out of the show now... But from first episode everyone is confused about scores and comments given to them. Well as chereographer, Farah and other judges find out the mistake then it should equivalent to all..............
For some performance they say energy is missing and deducting one mark for another performance if they say enegry were there but co-ordination was missing then they should reduce more marks........ Coz without sync,co-ordination ur energy is of no use......... It would be something like Road Accident in Farahs term................
