Sowmi and Shri slowly settled down in the new location. They joined the same management consulting firm and enjoyed collaborating on a merger and acquisition deal. Shri's intelligence and Sowmi's presentation skill created synergy.

They had petty fights on many things but resolved them then and there. They shared their daily activity report during their bed time. Sowmi trained him to assist in chores -- She made him cut vegetables, wash utensils, vacuum house, clean bath-tub, wash clothes, etc..Shri made her watch sports' channels, listen rock music, attend office parties, try various vegetarian cuisines, etc..

Raghu & Arthi moved to US after their wedding and stayed about 5 hours drive away from Sowmi & Shri's location. They were in constant touch through personal visits and phone calls. Sowmi & Shri's company gave them a feeling of staying at motherland.

Aug 2 - Shri & Sowmi's Birthday celebration

Raghu and Arthi gave a surprise visit to Shri's house at around 12, midnight. Shri and Sowmi drove them to a nearby beach and had a blast together until the wee hours. During their drive back home, Sowmi was leaning on Shri's shoulder with her hand tightly holding his hand...😉 They reached home in 30 mins as Raghu drove very fast..Arthi scolded Raghu for his reckless/rash/race driving..

With Chocolate drink in his hand, Shri Sowmi aa ezhuppi vittan..He kissed on her forehead and gifted her a platinum ring..She kissed on his cheek and presented him a branded shirt & a lovely greeting card..Shri and Sowmi had taken a day off to celebrate their special day by staying at home doing nothing..Raghu and Arthi accompanied them well and left to their place in the evening..Shri and Sowmi were getting ready to temple..Sowmi was trying hard to drape her saree..Sowmi kku saree katta theriyaadhu..

They had dinner together..Shri's stubble tempted Sowmi but Shri seemed to be stubborn..😉 He was watching TV in the living room..Sowmi took bath and sat close to him..Sowmi's Shampooed-free hair + Pears-soap-smelled skin mesmerized Shri..But he pretended as if he was not ready to give in..To add special BLUE effect, Sowmi brought her laptop and started playing the song aloud, "Meendum Meendum Vaa" from Vikram (SPB+S.Janaki combo's antics - Scintillating 😳😉)..Shri's mood reached peak..Konjam vambu pannalaam nu ninaichaan..

Sowmi went inside the bed room and slammed the door..Shri went out and slammed the front door..Sowmi's cell phone ringed, "Snehidhane Snehidhane"..Sowmi picked up the call..

Workplace: Executive Conference Room, McABC consulting firm

Sowmi and Shri presented business proposal to a client. Client was very much impressed with Sowmi's presentation skill and complimented her in front of senior executives. In fact, Shri has contributed more to this project than Sowmi but Sowmi carried herself well while presenting the project details to client. This incident triggered Shri's ego badly and he decided to switch company. He started his job search without informing her and found a job nearby Raghu's location.

Raghu & Arthi helped Sowmi & Shri in their relocation. Raghu stayed about 15 miles (~15 mins drive) away from Shri's house. Sowmi was a bit frustrated staying at home for about two weeks. Location constraint made her job search difficult. If she had earlier known that Shri was searching for a better job, she would have applied for jobs proactively.

One fine day, Gokul (GANG) called up Sowmi for financial emergency. Gokul's mom was hospitalized and he needed hot cash for her immediate operation. Without any second thought, Sowmi transferred XXX USD to Gokul's account..Shri returned home at night...

Shri's client arranged for a party to celebrate the success of a business deal. Shri's colleagues planned to attend this party with their family members. Sowmi was reading a book lying on bed..Shri entered the room and turned on his laptop..He was deleting junk files and folders on his laptop..Folder named, Cutest-Kodak-Moments, caught his attention..(Sowmi saved all their favourite photos on this folder)..Those special photos rekindled his memory of their good old days..He was in a desperate mood to talk to her and set things on track but she didn't care to look at him..To get her attention, he played the song, "Manasu Mayangum Mounageetham" from Sippikkul Muthu..
