Sreesanth and Shriya Saran

Actress Shriya Saran seems to have the hots for cricketer Sreesanth. If our source is to be believed, Shriya went out of her way to woo Sreesanth at a recently held Lakme Fashion Week party.

An eye witness said, "Shriya was hitting on Sreesanth big time. The actress was trying hard to impress him and falling over him throughout the event."

Apparently, Shriya did not leave Sreesanth's side even for a minute at the party. Our source added, "From the drink Sreesanth had to the food, Shriya kept fussing over him at the party. At first she wanted to know which drink the cricketer was having.

When Shriya learnt that Sreesanth was not into hard drinks and was having a soft drink, she remarked, 'How boring! Add some colour to your life Sreesanth'. And that's not all. Over dinner, Shriya kept asking Sreesanth what he would like to have and even offered to get food for him. Shriya also kept serving food to him, much to the cricketer's embarrassment."

Apparently, Shriya did not stop at that. Shriya, who was planning to visit another South Mumbai nightclub with Raima Sen and her friends, insisted that Sreesanth accompany her. However, Sreesanth declined saying that he was too tired and wanted to go back to the hotel room to rest.

Though disappointed, Shriya did not stop here too. She tried convincing Sreesanth to meet her the next day for a date at a restaurant. Our source said, "Shriya was constantly on the phone with Sreesanth to convince him to meet her the next day. However, Sreesanth refused saying that he had prior commitments."

Shriya remained unavailable for comment while Sreesanth said the expected, "No comments." However, a close friend of the actress disclosed, "They are family friends."
