They say if you love someone let them go...because they will always come back to you. And i believe that this is the biggest sacrifies that she has made for her love for Robbie. đ You spoke the words right out of my mouth! I may sound like the "Kasturi Chawla fan club" but to be honest, I have no anger towards her in any way.
What she did- she did for Robbie. It may sound outrageous- but she wanted to see Robbie happy. We all know how Robbie is the spoilt brat- until he met Kasturi. But can you imagine living in luxury all your life, and then one day being bankrupt and living on the streets? No matter how much we say that it doesnt matter- it does. In reality, it does. And it's the sad truth you know- but that's life for you.
I agree, Robbie can making his own money...he's a ROCKSTAR.. but in the real world, it's not that simple. If you've got no cash, people won't look at you the same way. And this is why Kasturi took the step.
As viewers, we tend to connect more with the male leads, rather than the female ones. And to a certain extent, that's logical. But could you honestly say that whatever Kasturi did was for her own selfish reasons? I don't think leaving the love of your life for the sake of his happiness or should I say his family's hapiness, and marrying a man double her age is selfish at all.
In fact, I'm shocked at how she has gone through so much in life from:
a) Marrying Raunak, who used her, betrayed her both emotionally and physically
b)Getting revenge on Robbie for "killing" Raunak, and dying everyday seeing him hurt.
c)Realizing that Raunak was never dead- the emotions that went through her at that moment.. imagine!
d)Having to go through all of Robbie's bitterness (i.e Anita)
e)Being shot, turning her into a child
The list can go on and on!
And through all that, I feel for her. I can sense and underdstand where she's coming from... and I think we all should take a minute before bashing her up and claiming to hate her.
Of course I feel bad for my Robbie, I cry when I see him in pain. It kills me to see him like this. He doesnt deserve it at all! All he wanted in life was to call Kasturi his own. But I believe in his love. And I know my RoKa will get back together. Just you wait and watch!
