Shishir a good guy...BUT...

hey guys, this is my first topic post in this awesome forum!

just wanted to put forward something; i know shishir is such a cool guy, one who doesnt mind ragini for who she really is...but somehow i got the feeling that if he really asserts that he doesnt want to know anything abt ragini's past (and he wasn't being hesitant when he said that), doesnt that mean he has some sort of past too? maybe a 'ranvir' who was cheated by a 'pretty, fair sonia' and has now matured enough to go for personality rather than looks - a complete opposite from ranvir, who's still confused abt his viewpoints...

what dyu guys think?

That's an interesting point you've put forward....I was also a little puzzled by Shishir's continuous "I don't care to know about your past" line....I think it's possible as you said that he may have a past too where he may have been hurt in that way so he's sort of a 'Ranvir' who's learnt his lesson after expereincing bertrayal and heartbreak.....that would be an interesting twist....I wonder if we'll be shown any of Shishir's past though😕

no yaar i dont think he has a some kind of past.i really think that he's just a down to earth person

I always find it interesting when a person in a relationship doesn't want to know about somebody's past....wouldn't it weird, one day in the future an ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend would show up in the future....I would have like to know beforehand who and what type of person I'm dealing with....what if you had a really obsessive ex (not your fault at all)...I'd want to be cautious of that person....I personally think its good to get the past out in the open (not with too much details though😆)...I'd feel like I'm not being completely honest with my partner if I don't tell him about my past....

That being said, I don't think Shushir has anything to hide (though in one my classes we just had an lengthy discussion on how everyone should get background checks done and not trust anyone completely 😆) You really can never know unless you ask, I guess!

true katypink... and I do think that he knew she was going to refer to love in her life when she was abt to tell him.

I like your viewpoints but would personally beg to differ. What you are saying might be true but I like to think that shishir is a cool guy who not only doesn't mind ragini for who she really is but also rather admires her for it. He has seen her dance and she is a talented dancer. Also, she is beautiful if you overlook the complexion factor or even inclusive of the complexion factor. Some cool guys out there do think that dark is sexy. And such a cool guy usually cares two hoots for a past. They have a mind of their own and are usually bold and optimistic and believe in giving a future to a relationship through love and nurture.

I like to think that shishir didn't need any reason to love ragini. He loved her for what she is.

wow i'd love it if shishir was really like that- perfect husband! and yes, i definitely agree that ragini's beauty is actually enhanced by her darker complexion...it makes shishir so much harder to reject (if ragini does reject him)!
