Jodis we would love to see!
It has the innate ability to turn odds into even and make sweet look sexy. Before you know it, the screen is blazing with a palpable connection between its two lead players. And history is made.
Over the years, Bollywood has witnessed memorable pairs on screen like Raj Kapoor-Nargis, Dilip Kumar-Madhubala, Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha, Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, to name a few. Currently, with hits like Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng under their belt; Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, too, are hoping to find a place in this enviable category.
While these afore-mentioned pairs are immensely popular, there are quite a few potential hit jodis waiting in the wings to make a similar impact on the viewer. Read on to find out:

Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra, Kaminay
Theirs is an unusual pairing. Then again, Vishal Bharadwaj's insolently titled flick isn't a run-of-the-mill offering either.
Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra, incidentally residents of the same building in real life, sport a new look for the movie. Apparently, the stylish couple got along like a house on fire during the making of the film, sparking off rumours of a link-up.
Let's hope some of their off screen bonding translates into a hot 'n' hit on screen jodi as well.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, 3 Idiots
After working with all the other Khans -- Shah Rukh, Salman, Saif and Fardeen, Kareena was looking forward to working with Bollywood's resident perfectionist.
It almost happened when Mani Ratnam offered her a period drama, Lajjo opposite Aamir. That film didn't take off. But her desire to romance the Taare Zameen Par star has finally been realised with Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots.
While not an exact adaptation, the caper woven around an academic institution seeks inspiration from Chetan Bhagat's Five Point Someone.
Both the actors possess enormous charisma, terrific presence and are bound to make a groovy couple on screen. While the svelte Kareena is all about spontaneity, AK likes to rehearse intently before he shoots.

Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, Chandni Chowk To China
Needless to say, Akki and Deepika are going to attract a lot of attention with their first movie together, curiously titled Chandni Chowk To China. Said to be loosely based on Akshay's own rise-from-struggle story, this Nikhil Advani flick features the Om Shanti Om girl in a double role.
What do you think? Another mast-mast jodi in the making?

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
While no one can really compete with the feverish chemistry between SRK-Kajol, the filmmaker's latest romance pairs the Khan with his well-guarded discovery, Anushka Sharma.
Whether his superstar persona, dimpled charm and endearing earthiness against Anushka's radiant enigma become truly a match made in Yashraj heaven, we do not know. But we surely would love to know.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
On the other hand, Katrina Kaif is an adorable mix of cuteness and sophistication. Though we admit, we are rather tired of seeing her monotonous choice of screen heroes [namely Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan]. Perhaps RK Jr is just what she needs.
And so, together, this refreshing jodi embarks on a romance-filled journey of Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, Dilli 6
Star children Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor play each other's love interest in his Dilli 6.
Besides their actor daddies [Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor], the duo also share an easygoing personality, fun-loving outlook and elegant eloquence in common.
Hopefully, the Rang De Basanti filmmaker will utilise these qualities to create a mesmerising camaraderie on screen.
