1)I love your name ...Aaliya..but what does it exactly mean?? Thanx 😳 it means high ranking and rising up.
2)Which has been your favourite cricket match till now which you can never forget and why hs it been you favourite?? erm, I think there are 2 matches that come to mind. One was the T20 final in SA between India and Pakistan. I loved that much because it was very intense and full of drama. Plus it could have gone either way and I like matches of this nature. Also, the game was played in very good spirit and I appreciated it. The other was a Natwest final between India and England (it took place in England a few years back) it was a high scoring match and England had posted a total of 300+ on the board. Everyone thought that the outcome had already been decided....India were wobbling after losing wickets. But Yuvraj Singh came and played a crucial innings. They later went on to win the match. It was quite exciting and entertaining.
3)I suppose by ur earlier avatar..Andaz Apna Apna is one of ur favourite movies..so tell me which were ur favourite scenes frm tht movie??😳 lol the Andaz Apna Apna avatar is back....I missed it too much 😳 I think that's my trademark avi 😃 ok, fav scene. Now that's tough! The enitire film was hilarious. But I would pick 3 scenes. One scene (that is in my avatar) is the Salman-Karisma scene when they constantly stare at each other and all of a sudden Salman shakes his head to snap out of it. lol I found that really cute. The other scene would be when Salman pretends to be a doctor and comes for the very first time into the house. The whole "treatment" scene between Salman and Aamir was damn funny. Infact, most scenes between Salman and Aamir had me in splits. The third scene is the climax fight sequence between Prem (Salman) and Goga (Shakti Kapoor) lol I would impersonate Goga when I was a kid 😆
4)Do you think Ganguly should have retired at dis point of time?? Good question! As much as I admire Ganguly as a player, I think he made the right decision and at the right time. It is better to retire and go gracefully than to be told to go! I think a lot of players in the past have waited far too long and then end up going after things go wrong for them. What Ganguly has achieved should definitely be appreciated. I think he probably still has a lot of cricket in him! But timing is very important. It's good to go when people still appreciate you.
5)Which is the most overated and underated movie according to u in recent times..? oooh that's hard! In recent times....hmmmm. Most under-rated film in my opinion would be Rock on and Omkara. I know Rock on did well but I think it deserved much more appreciation and coverage. The entire film was so real, it touched a chord in my heart. I'm happy for it's success- but don't think it was enough. It deserved much more. A lot of nonsense films are hyped up so much when they don't even deserve it. Rock on did deserve it and I don't think the applause was enough. Maybe medicority is what people want.
Omkara is another because I felt that it was an amazing adaptation of Othello. I've read the play and think it's a masterpiece. But Omkara was no less. Although it was critically acclaimed I was shocked that it didn't go to national award level.
Overrated....perhaps Om Shanti Om. I like SRK but I just feel that the film wasn't all that. For me it was like a body without a soul. I didn't enjoy it. But I guess the majority did and majority rules so I cannot say much! Actually, there are other films that I think are under-rated and over-rated but they are not in recent times so I won't include them. Plus the post may get too long!
6)Dint you hv ny cricket crushes??😉If yes..den how many n name dem😳 lol I've had quite a few. And I've had some weird ones too 😆 weirdest had to be Stephen Fleming...I think it was his calm exterior lol. Brett Lee is definitely one that I've had 😉 love the twinkle in his eyes. Oh and Rahul Dravid...love the way he speaks. Imran Khan was another, I think because of his attitude.
7)Who is the most overated cricket played according to you?? Interesting! Maybe Kevin Pieterson of England. He's now become captain and has started off quite well but he still has to prove himself. He's only had one series and you cannot judge a captain's capability on one series alone. I'm a Brit, so I've been follwing what the media says. They seem to be very much obsessed with him but I think it's premature. He still needs to prove himself as a cricketer. He's given some good performances but I think he's just an entertainer. He's been around for quite some time now but I don't think he will have a very long career. My opinon only, of course 😳
8)Will you watch Hello for Salman onli??or do u actually wnna c tht movie..Ok I no my questions r becuming weird..bt still😆 lol no no...your question is a good one. After all, it's related to Salman 😆 😉 yes I will watch it. But as you rightly guessed.....only for him 😳 I think it's just a cameo, but never mind. I shall accept it with open arms!
