Aishwarya's father hospitalised

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishna Raj Rai was admitted to Hinduja hospital hereon Thursday.

Krishna Raj, who had been diagnosed with cancer, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday's evening, hospital sources said.

Hinduja hospital director Gustad Davar, however, refused to divulge details saying the family wants to keep it private.

Krishna Raj had been undergoing treatment for cancer at the hospital.

aww, thats sad! I hope Ash is by her dad in his time of need....and hope he beats the cancer!

That's sad. I thought he was just ill..didn't know it was Cancer and serious. Aishwarya does put a brave front and a very nice daughter and DIL.

I saw a picture of Aishwarya alone in the hospital visiting her father. Why isn't Abhishek with her? I posted this before too once about some family function at Aishwarya's place where she was with her family minus hubby. Why don't we see Bachchans visiting her family esp Abhishek? She is always there for his family. Hope they aren't regressive like K soap characters.
