Ayesha Takia quits Bollywood

A wedding has been announced between Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia and restaurateur-businessman Farhan Azmi. The two have been dating ever since. And the marriage has been fixed for January.
Farhan is into training for his big day. "My sister is getting married on October 25, and I'm busy with that," he said. "My own wedding, I will start working on soon after. I want to tell the world about my commitment to Ayesha. I love her and marriage is the next step." Ayesha, meanwhile, is busy completing her last three projects — Pathshaala, Nagesh Kukunoor's Tasveer and Boney Kapoor's Wanted Dead or Alive. She has informed her producers that she won't shoot after marriage. "I have left the decision to work after marriage to Ayesha. She has always done sweet and enjoyable flicks. Never anything in bad taste. So I'm fine with whatever she chooses," Farhan said sweetly.
Farhan's a Muslim while Ayesha's of mixed parentage: her father, Nishit, is Gujarati; her mother is half-British and half-Maharashtrian — an Anglo-Indian named Faridah. There is no pressure from the Azmi family for Ayesha to convert to Islam after marriage. The actress' climb to fame began as a child model alongside Shahid Kapoor in a health food commercial. She also featured in Falguni Pathak's music video Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye. But Ayesha was noticed by Bollywood in the video Shake It Daddy and film offers followed.

shes not quit shes getting married if her husband does not mind her choices then whats the issue hope she does do movies not because i am massive fan because i think its abit sad when women especially film stars quit because of marriage...at the end of the day its a career like any other
