He completed his schooling from Fatima High School in Mumbai. He is a B.Sc. graduate from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. He started his career with Modeling when he was in college. But his good looks landed him a small role in serial 'Ashirwad' (Zee TV) followed by 'Kanyadaan' (Sony TV). He became immensely popular among TV viewers from the serial Kumkum (Star Plus) where he flawlessly portrayed the role of Sumit Wadhwa👏 and now playing the ever charming,hot and handsome hunk Sumit Raichand in the same show post Re-Incarnation.😳 He has also done other memorable serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kangan, Krishna Arjun, Sarhadain etc. | |
He is not only an actor but also an excellent anchor👏. He has hosted various reality shows and contests like Indian Idol, Khul Ja Sim Sim, Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai, Kisme Kitna Hai Dum, Kalakaar, Shaabash India and others😳. He has also hosted popular award shows like Indian Divas 05 and Star Pariwaar Awards. He has done various commercial ads for brands like Close up, Leher Kurkure, Perk, Gillette, Rexona, Harpic, RMD, Pan Masala and others. In 2003 he won his first award as Best Devar at Star Parivaar Awards.👏 In 2006 he won the Star Parivaar Favourite Pati and Favourite Bhai awards. He married his long time girlfriend Tina, a fashion designer on December 21, 2005.
