I couldn't agree with you more. But i blame the directors and storywriters. They come up with these stupid concepts and advertise them infront of thousands if not millions, of fans. So let me get this straight.......if (God forbid) some guy rapes me for whatever reason......I should end up marrying him becaus of love? That's a bunch of BS!😡 These serials are giving the wrong perception of love and relationship and mixing serious events like rape with emotions. I find is very rare that a women will marry a guy because he raped her. The way these serials put is.......its okay to marry the man who rapes you. But my question is...........WHERE'S YOUR SELF-RESPECT? Why doesn't ekta show kajal actually leaving arjun even though she is pregnant with his kid? You can then portray her character as a young, strong, brave single mother who can take care of herself and doesn't need her rapist (husband) to support her? BUT NO.........these serials have to end with a happy ending. Where is the reality being shown in these serials? Then show rape as nothing big. Maybe if ekta shows these women fighting back and avenging their rape/rapist......it will encourage real women in the real world who have been raped to come out and support themselves and not hide behind the man. This is all simply my own opinion!
