I think he needs a tight slap or some trashing from someone like Nirmal which will shake his sleeping conscience D_I and Jo,
All my stray thoughts put together-------
A] If there is a confrontation between Nirmal and that man, then I feel ...
1. Nirmal is too gentle a person to as such raise her hand on anyone.
2. But her sincere words may prove to be effective since she will speak straight from the heart. And because she truly loves my silly kudi. 3. The rat may not believe her because he doesn't really think highly of Nirmal. 4. Her sister's love may not be able to melt that man's heart of stone. 5. Sanjay's presence may keep him from being rude to the kind hearted Nirmal. OR
He may see things in a different light and the story will move on from there.
B] If the old wolf dies / or is gravely injured, then I feel .....
1. The rat will get pulled into the same vortex that my silly kudi is drowning in
2. He will be outraged that the wolf could accuse him of having an affair with her. Remember he thinks the worst of her.
3. He will realise that he is walking on thin ice and that the title (which this darling son wants to give his pop) is slipping from his hands.
4. The old wolf may complain to Taklu. Taklu will get angry thinking that all along this little buffoon was two timing him.
5. When the rat himself gets burnt, he will change his way of thinking. Not before that.
