I finally found out what is the new flavour the creatives were talking about. It is celibacy. Look at Milsi, wandering the country like a pauper searching for his beloved. Prachi, leading a fake life as a bahu in a Bengali household, supposedly thinking of her husband all the time, feeling miserable seeing his condition but refusing to do anything about it because she wants some divine intervention. Then there is Proteek who has lost his wife six years ago, seems to want to move on in life with his fake wife but is not getting the 'go ahead' signal from her.
What is common between these three characters?
Celibacy.
There is no way Milsi will accept any other woman other than Prachi. Prachi too will not accept any other man other than Milsi. Only right now she seems to think her duty is to her fake husband than to her real one. So she is not going to do anything about her situation. Although she considers her duty to stick on with the Dasguptas, she does not consider her duty to play real wife to Proteek. He is just a friend who is faking as her husband to the rest of the world. That means Proteek too is forced into a life of celibacy.
Celibate Love - That is the new mantra, the new flavour, the unique track.
