The storyline doesn't matter as much as presentation matters,may b there hav been shows which had similar storyline but the way the story is being implemented in MHJT is diff.

This is a serial it needn't model real life.

As far as Saas-Bahu serials r concerned,something really needs 2 b done about that & v r even bored with all diff kinds of reality shows from Indian Idol to Roadies(No Offense).

I'm not saying MJHT is d best show but yeah its worth watching

n now cuming straight 2 da point as 2 y MJHT works for me ( yup am one of its ardent fans ) ..... hmmm da most obvious is da freshness of da show n also its characters ... believe me apart from dia n her 2 chamchas am actually quite fond of everyone !!!!

its actually a relief watching a show which does not feature n saas n a bahu n dat same old mundane kitchen politics

u knw i have read many posts where pple r comparing it 2 other college centric shows such as yeh meri life hai n kyun hot hai pyar n honestly i fail 2 c da similarity in dem ...... jus coz dey all revolve around college life doesnt make dem clones of each other ..... da characters n its treatmenti s way different !!!

u knw comparing such shows its as silly as comparing nach blaiye wit jhalak dekhlaja n zara nachke dekha since dey r all dance based reality shows ..... despite dance being da common element v watch all of dem right ..... coz each show has its own novelty !!!!!

hence my point dat from da face of it MJHT may seem a classic example of "been dere done dat " but once u move past dat stage am sure u will find sumthing novel in it ... atleast i did !!!!
