It's Prachi who matters to Milind the most. He has lost his senses without her. He is not in one piece (and not at peace) without her. He can't even take care of himself leave alone his business or his family. He can't live in a house where everyone will tell him to move on as Prachi is dead. He can't believe she is dead as he is still breathing.

He told everyone he will come back to his life (which will be bringing Prachi back) to Shah mansion. Let's see what has he gone through and what the rest of the family has gone through all these years.

I am going to wait before i make any further comments on Milind's actions. But If i were to believe what you wrote above...i really would loose respect for Milind's character. That is not who i thought him to be and that is not the Milind i love. ITs not the way he loves him woman that endeared him to me. It was his self-respect and identity...and without that...he is not the guy i adore and want to watch everyday.

And then we don't know what was the significance of that accident they showed where Milind hit a truck and Neev saw it. I hope Milind has not lost his mental stability.

I am not happy saying that either JC. I have very little experience with K-serials and can't think in their ways.
I wouldn't even have dreamt of Prachi as dutiful "bahu" of Dasgupta family.

I think the reason they made Neev to witness MIlind (or someone who looked like MIlind) meeting with an accident was to make Shah/Mishra family believe MIlind is dead. May be Milind was saved in that accident and was in a coma, or had become numb for a while. When he got back to his senses a little bit, he came to search for Shah/Mishras but the mansion was turned into Sharmas.. May be he didn't find them too. May be then he started roaming directionless and reached Kolkata.
