Bigg Boss 2 has become the adult show

Catfights, abuses, cheap slang words and vulgarity - the second season of reality show "Bigg Boss" is packed with adult content in the garb of entertainment, say former participants.

Instances of verbal attacks and physical proximity between item girl Sambhavna Seth and actress Shweta Tiwari's estranged husband Raja Chaudhary are escalating on the programme.

Television actress Ketaki Dave, who was eliminated a few weeks ago, says she is "very happy to have come out".

"The show is no longer classy, not that it ever was, but Raja's and Sambhavna's behaviour is very strange. They fight but at the same time they dance so close to each other. Raja abuses a lot. I'm happy I don't have to see all that, " Ketaki told.

The reality show requires celebrities to be locked up in a specially designed house for three months under 24-hour camera surveillance, with no access to the outside world. Every week one housemate is evicted and the one who stays till the very end emerges the winner. It has been inspired by the American reality show "Celebrity Big Brother".

Though the last season also exposed viewers to similar drama with Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan swearing and abusing and item girl Rakhi Sawant screaming and howling, the game never got so dirty.

Last week, Sambhavna accused co-participant Ashutosh Kaushik, winner of MTV Roadies show, of hurting her right breast while playing a game of kabaddi and ignited a massive fight.

Though the rest of the house members tried to keep the situation under control, it turned worse when Raja intervened and called her a "nautanki" (melodrama queen).

For this, "Bigg Boss" himself nominated Raja but he escaped eviction.

After creating much drama over Raja's comment, Sambhavna was later seen dancing up close and personal with him to a popular number.

Sambhavna has had fights with other inmates like Rahul Mahajan and Payal Rohatgi - all over seemingly trivial issues.

"This is all happening because they have nothing to do and they are getting massively bored. So their mind is getting affected. They are not even using the gym. All that they do is backbite or indulge in verbal assaults, " said Ketaki.

"I think 'Bigg Boss' needs to assign them more tasks so that their mental capability is exercised, " she added. The actress strongly feels that things will get better on the show if Raja is evicted.

"Raja is the culprit, " Ketaki said.

She also said that the show is not rigged and that it shows the person as he or she is in real life.

Raja was in the news for mistreating his wife Shweta. The two went their separate ways last year after Shweta exposed his misdeeds.

Ravi Kishan feels that unlike part two, the participants of the first season were more constructive in their approach.

"I see inmates abusing each other, they are not at all friendly with each other, " he said.

Non-celebrity inmate Alina Wadiwalla, who was recently evicted, feels people tend to get aggressive when they are cooped up in a house without any contact with the outside world.

"Sambhavna and Raja do fight and at times it does get overheated, but then that is their way of handling aggression. They have been in the house for over a month now and things like these can happen, " Alina said.

The second season of "Bigg Boss" went on air on channel Colors Aug 17 with 13 contestants. There are currently nine inmates left in the "Bigg Boss" house.

Yes Saira. Agree with you. 21 is too high. Above 16 should be fine. But these days even 13 yr olds talk about 'first night' and whatnot all thanks to our daily soaps which go into details.

@ Maya - totally agree.
For one was late night show its up to parents to rule out if can watch yes/no that late and monitor. Age 15/16 is fine, under age that maybe not.
Tbh i watched it at that age BB1 and folks watched with me as they loved BB1 too, and tbh if kids are taught in school all this at age 12/13 anyways.
Kids these days honestly stay up to god knows what time anyways. yeah come on this 11 year old kid today honestly am like shocked seriously....they knew meaning of this word but anyways daily dramas do highlight these things anyways a bit too much .
BB is shown at 10-11 - so its only really 15 yr old plus that will watch really. So IMO that age its fine, as teens know all this adult related stuff anyways from friends, school etc but the only problem we have is its kinda embarrasing if ur watching with folks! hehe.

^^^ Yaar, isn't A certification is meant for 21 plus.. reason I mentioned.
Is the programming and viewing are done in strict accordance to age, atleast India? I agree if inappro, programming is onn kids should asked to go thier rooms or sleep or parents don't watch it.
But is everyone aware BB2 is meant for say 16 plus? then why 12-13 years are watching and discussin the show? I don't mean to sound blah but at time BB1 and BB2 are just vulgar and inappro for kiddos.
Baki individual choices and calls, dekho and enjoy! as long it is being telecasted without any moral (trp is sabka baap lol) responsibilities towards viewers, as I sed in the initial post who cares? ๐Ÿ˜‰

@bold - exactly as it is not adult stuff also, more of a vulgarity shown.
Now now now what percentage of kiddos are watching BB2 on TV sets at 10-11 slot? ๐Ÿ˜† It is retelecasted thrice...
