The reason why he married those 16000 women was that they were kidnapped by a demon. Krishnaji freed all of them from his captivity. In those times, nobody would have married those girls hance Krishnaji gave them a social status..in other words, krishnaji ne unka uddhar kiya. U & I a human beings and we can't decide on their doings as "right" or "wrong" . We have a limited mind. What we see aroung us, we act accordingly and we develop preconceived notions of whatz right and whatz wrong. O so, this is why Krishnaji married 16000 women. This reason is indeed convincing...Thanks for telling me abt Charu.
Krishna avtaar was a "poorna avtaar" of Vishnu. Krishna was born with 16 kalayein while Lord Ram was born with 13 kalayein. I don't wanna demean any of God's avtaar but looking from an angle of an ordinary human being, even i can say that even if Ram practiced ek patni vrat , he took agni pareeksha of his wife and disowned her knowing tht she was pure. Even i can point out mistakes in his character. but like i said, an ordinary being wud think like this. but God has his own ways. What they do cannot be totally comprehendable by our limited thinking. ...If the characters of Mahabharat are analyzed closely the same way , then one will come to a conclusion that all of them were wrong in some way or the other.....Ramji trusted sita maa; he knew sita maa was pure. however, his praja did not trust sita maa, and as a king his first duty is to keep his praja happy. Thus, he had to take Sita maa's agni parikshya to make his praja believe that sita maa is pure as ganga.
Draupadi had 5 husbands that doesn't demean her character. Draupdi had 5 husbands because she prayed to Lord Shiva and asked a boon from Lord Shiva that her husband be Strong, handsome etc. Little did Draupadi know that all these characteristics cannot be found in one man. Thus, she had to marry the Pandavs. Draupadi's character is strong, and I respect her. We can't blindly follow whatz written in our puranas and epics..Krishnaji did raas leela with the gopis....He had 16,108 wives, he did a lot of "leela" as Krishna.....
We're talking about Krishna avtaar...Many Gods have more than one wife. ..Now u cant say tht whoever has one wife is good and whoever has more than one wife is bad that's how it is.....

thats what i'm saying..from the perspective of an oridnary human being, this thought will cross his mind..we have to think and rethink and go deep inside to find out the REAL reason for what they did. many times it's beyond what we can comprehend.😊
I know every bit abt Draupadi..I was trying to say tht Draupadi had 5 husbands..if somebody who doesn't know MAhabharat and her story will come to this conclusion tht it was wrong..bec. one can't imagine such an arrangement in today's times....
Similarly there r many stories in puranas which we might not agree with, or we might think this is wrong..but thats the way they are...We must accept what we can and ignore the rest...
Whether we worship KRishna or Ram or Vishnu or Shiv or Ganpati, we are worshipping God..They all are one...it's a matter of faith we offer our prayers in which form.....We're not doing them a favor by worhipping them or not worshipping them..😊
