Industry waits Imran Khan's second inning

• It took Ranbir Kapoor almost a year (after the commercial debacle of SAWAARIYA) to prove his credentials at the box-office, with the hit BACHNA AE HASEENO. But, Imran Khan, nephew of Aamir Khan is luckier. Firstly, his debut vehicle the blockbuster, JAANE TU...YA JAANE NA made him an overnight sensation and secondly, he as well as the producers of his forthcoming venture, KIDNAP are now cashing in on his mind-blowing success, which was just around two months back.
• This is evident from the fact that all the hoardings as well as the posters (even the promotional track, 'Mit Jaaye') have Imran Khan all over. Even the lead actor, the much senior Sanjay Dutt has taken a back seat and is happily giving prominence to the emerging star, a habit with the humble superstar, Dutt.
• The trade and industry is waiting with bated breath to see the response of Imran Khan's second film, KIDNAP. The three main reasons behind this eagerness is the fact that this time Imran Khan does not enjoy the patronage and help (with the publicity) of his uncle Aamir Khan.
