After books and television, the tales of PrithviRaj Chauhan have found a new medium that is of comics. These comics will be enjoyed by kids and elders as the story will be portrayed with a dose of entertainment. On May 11, at the Reliance Time Out in the Ambience Mall, Prakash Books launched a set of comics based on the story of PrithviRaj Chauhan. Stars of the renowned soap Dharti Ka Veer Yodha, Rashid and Sheetal Gupta who portray the character of PrithviRaj and Sanyogita respectively, inaugurated the comics.
While interacting with the press, Rashid and Sheetal expressed, "Each and every person should be proud of his country's legacy. For this, it is important that they have knowledge. Through comics the story of PrithviRaj Chauhan will reach most children."
Prakash Books MD Gaurav Sabharval speaks, "At present, multiple comics of four stories have been released. We are planning to release one story every month."
Rashid voices, "I've been portraying the character of PrithviRaj Chauhan for a very long time. This has ensured that I've started thinking like him. Portraying the character was extremely challenging as everyone has an impression of the great PrithviRaj Chauhan."
Sheetal utters, "The character of Sanyogita holds great significance in the story and I am proud to play her character."
A comic launch is never complete without the kids. Children were glad to have the characters of their loved soap with them and cherished getting clicked with them and taking autographs.
