Music is the one and only universal language. Outside of India people have studied the compositional masterpieces of RD Burman!

So is anyone here really into music or received any kind of musical training or maybe you can share what type of music you love to listen to. 😊

Excelllent topic M ji....

When i took a music appreciation class in college, it truly opened my eyes to the world of music....

It was amazing how music evolved over time and how key people influenced each era..

from that day on..I always have an open mind about music and how an artist can present her/his feelings...

Music is great, it helps cultures survive...I remeber back then in the early times people would pass bhajans, religious stories via singing...I have had older older fam members that never read or write, but they knew more bhajans than most..It was amazing...Music is truly a universal language...

Edit: i like all kinds, but at heart and what i listen to mostly is religious music. I think its good because Gods name is filled in the air and on ur mind.......

other than religious music i love bhangra beats and some songs...😳

oh yes i'm really into music. i have learned violin and piano for...quite a while. piano for about half my life. playing the violin has really trained my ears. one part i dont like about that is i can pick out flaws in even the most seemingly perfect singing. sometimes i have to make a conscious effort to listen with an open mind. but yes i like basically any type of music (any south asian), but i'm not much into western music... i like soft instrumental music also, almost any genre

True I'm mostly into South Asian music as well and I also play the violin! 😲
