I want to make a request to Saat Phere creatives .
These serials r ultimately made for the entertainment of women at home , right ? Yes , i know even working women watch the serials but mostly the audience is housewives ...........thats what the creatives keep telling in interviews . Ekta kapoor told that . Point is.......a large part of the audience is simple , homely women .
So please show us tracks where women tackle enemies within the house rather than fake enemies who keep waltzing in and out of the house like Chandni , Jiji , Kalika etc . This does not happen in real life with these homely women . Women from outside dont come and plonk themselve's in these housewives' lives and destroy them so methodically . Yes , one or two tracks with such incredible storylines is ok for a change ...........it is entertainment for the women , But each track where the villain is an outsider is unbelievable .
All these women who watch these shows dont have such enemies from out ..........but yes, they do have enemies within their house who harass them or take away their mental peace . These enemies r in the form of dominating mother inlaws , tell tale sister in laws , bossy jethanis, greedy brother in laws , partial dads who favour sons over daughters, a spoilt wayward son who insults his simple hardworking parents , rich bahus who look down upon middle class in laws , aged but tough grandmas or buas etc who enforce tradition at cost of humanity . The women who watch these serials often deal with such enemies within their house .
If tracks r shown where the lead heroine tackles such enemies within the house , these women audience will not only be entertained highly as they will identify with thhese trials , but they will also learn how to tackle their own issues , as TV serials make a huge impact on them . Please show them how bossy jethanis like Tara r dealt with , how women like Laali Maasi shud be dealt with as these enemies r real enemies............they do exist on every level of society . How shud elders like Narpat and Ambika deal with a bahu like Kaveri who makes them work like servants...........instead of foolishly doing Bahu Bahu and being miserable in old age . When the lead heroine[ Saloni] 's , husband is right , please dont show the lead heroine bending before uneducated beliefs that barren women are indeed a curse and that this must be right as some old lady is saying it . Rather , show us that the lead heroine smartly explains our culture to that uneducated woman from a scientific viewpoint and totally disregards unjust rules.
The women audience watching this will be greatly enthralled and relieved , trust us . The lead heroine goes to a temple and makes vows with Jai MAAAA bblaring in the background and fights fake enemies from outside and tolerates real bad enemies inside the house ............is getting horribly boring and uncconvincing . By all means show the Jai Maaaaaa music but show it while tackling a domestic issue , a real one .
I hope many on the forum reply to this so that some one from SP reads us .

Thank God someone feels the same way as I do. I stopped watching SP a while back because i just could not stomach the unreality of the show. The writers made the women in the shows look like idiots and we all know that that is not true. Thank you for speaking up.

I agree. SP has always been unique in terms of its storyline but these days its simply getting repetitive which is causing a loss in audience.

Thank u guys for agreeing . I hope more agree , we will get better storylines if they read us ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just the way they brought back Manno bhabhi . They brought her a bit late...........we wanted to see her pushing around laali maasi and pulling up saloni for her over devotion to tara and neglecting her own husband and baby . still , not bad .

I agree with you and I feel this is the difference between a good show and a great show. I really hope some-one from SP do read your post.
