Asha Bhosle's daughter Varsha Bhosle attempted suicide by consuming an overdose of sleeping tablets last night. Varsha has sung many a duets with Asha in Hindi and Marathi languages. The 50 year old renowned journalist was present at her mother's 75th birthday celebrations but she failed to wake up today morning.

When the family members tried to wake her up they realised the serious condition she was in and Vasha was thereafter admitted to the Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai. Doctors and family are not speaking anything about the issue as they are busy trying to revive Varsha. However, our sources at the hospital reveal that efforts are being made to pump out the content from Varsha's stomach.

That's really a sad news. I remember she used to write on rediff long back - 10-12 years back. Saaz movie had released and it was hinted it is loosely based on Lata and Asha's life. And she wrote a glimpse about her life and her relationship with Lata Mausi. It was really good.
