In my head, I'm thinking "hum dil de chuke sanam." When I first watched it, I was thinking what the he*l is this??? The married Aishwarya reunites with her love, Salman Khan with the help of her husband Ajay Devgan. Em...ok. Ajay's just a real sensitive, selfless guy (like our Yuv). But doesn't separation entail screaming, silent treatments, the destruction of home and property? I never saw another movie like this come out again, except Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

So, now we are saddled with 2 odd couples. So many things link them--sisters, same maayka and sasural, and here's the zinger, noone loves each other. In fact, Yuv and Trish are still in love, not quite the connection you want if your Trish's husband.

On the serials, do they ever show separation or divorce or other "less traditional" developments? Can you just imagine how it would be if Deep and Tanya reunite them? By this time, Kanaiyah would be dead (how great!). There would be no threats to Tanya. And I think Deep is sensitive enough to realize what Yuv gave up for him(Deep) to be happy. What say?

I agree with you, TV Serials hardly ever show Divorces and stuff, if they do then at the end the divorce never happends, but i think Yuv-Trish will forget eachother nd live happily with there partners soon.

They hardly show divorces. but if they do it's one of the following

1. lead hero and heroine got broken up by scheaming villain. now after yrs they are back together.

2. one of them ended up marrying villain. most cases it's not a divorce though, the villain exits the show.

3. when they put 2 people together but it quite doesn't work the magic for fans, so they break the ppl apart w/o consummation.

I believe in marriages so as long as my fav jodi are on screen together I am pro marriage from every angle. actually I take that back. I am pro marriage period. I have never been in a situation where my jodi is separated by marriage except adi/mets. And I wished Pranay death!! He didn't deserve to be a husband after he raped methali! I don't believe a bond like marriage should be broken over every 2 little things. It pisses me off. They didn't want it, well should've thought of that before you got married. Now live with it. It's not a joke. They make a mockery out of the phrase "death do us apart" . During wedding promises they should include I promise to do blah blah blah only till I find a reason for divorce. I hated kabhi alvida na kehna. What are we promoting these days in the name of love? that when you have marital problems go have an affair? Oh yes because true love is that important. On Rani's part the woman didn't even give her husband a chance. As for SRK he needed a looser like himself. Disgusting!

Yes, I can agree with you on KANK. And yes, marriage is spiritually binding, and let's not forget, legally!

I was just surprised with the track we're seeing. They did show Trishna and Deep consummate right? But you just never know--creatives could very well say they stopped because Trish could not. Desperate I most certainly am.

It's beginning to dawn on me that since they showed Deep and Trishna ahem, together, that there is no going back to before.

Yes, I also think Trish should give a nice shiner to Yuv, for playing with her life. She should play with his.
