It's Celebration Week in Kabhi Kabhie...

The theme this week in Sony's Kabhi Kabhie is 'Celebration'!! Get an insight on the performances and above all, check here to get to know who got out this week....

Sony?s Kabhi Kabhie Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar has reached the quarterfinal stage with four jodis, Krushna-Kashmera-Mukul, Tina-Karnvir-Teejay, Wasna-Mridul-Tina and Shalini-Jatin-Priya battling it out to win the coveted trophy.

The contestants will be in a joyous mood as the theme this week is ?Celebration?. While Shalini and Jatin performed on Billo Rani, Jatin celebrated Karva Chauth with Priya on the number? Mahi Ve?. It was wedding bells for Tina and Mridul as they danced merrily to Dil Vich Lagi Ae, while Mridul celebrated the occasion of becoming a father with Wasna on Aaja Soniye? Teejay and Karnvir looked fabulous as they celebrated their anniversary with Mauja, but the icing on the cake was the performance of Karnvir-Tina on Unke Nashe Main...The other show stealer was of course Krushna and Kashmera who got applauded by one and all for their mindblowing performance, while Mukul and Kashmera danced on Oonchi Hai Building...

Unfortunately, every week has to end with one team going out and this week saw for the first time, 3 jodis in the danger zone - Mukul-Kash-Krushna, Wasna-Mridul-Tina and Shalini-Jatin-Priya.

According to our source, ?It was Priya-Jatin-Shalini to get eliminated this week. Jatin and Priya who performed on Karvachauth just could not convince the judges with their concept and got very less marks when compared to the other jodis. Priya who depicted the ideal married woman dressed in a saree, with mangalsutra and kajra could not please the judges, whether it was in chemistry, choreography or even the costumes. Even though Jatin and Shalini performed well and got good marks and comments from judges, ultimately, Mridul?s team edged them out of the race?.

With the final three jodis named, the battle in Kabhi Kabhie is indeed getting tougher!!

Sanjit Bedi enters Vivaah…

Sanjit Bedi steps into Rajdeep's character in Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivaah post Vikas Sethi decided to quit.

Sanjit, who has done a couple of hit shows in the past, was excited to work with the Vivaah team after getting a brief about his role. When contacted Sanjit said, "After production house read out the script to me there was no reason for me to not accept the offer. Vivaah serial has a beautiful story that highlights a social message and I am glad that I am part of such a team."

Rajdeep's character

Heir of a rich business tycoon, a very generous person, great friend of Raj, a totally mother's boy, does not blink an eyelid without her consent is a small introduction about Rajdeep's character. But for the first time, he almost defies her, when he falls in love with Trishna. His love crashes soon when he comes to know that Trishna and Raj are in love with each other. He is terribly hurt that both of them did not did not even bother to tell him about this development. Away from this truth, his ego about the fact that he has been on the giving end all his life to Raj, how could his best friend get on a pedestal by sacrificing his love for him?

Big fat punjabi Wedding in Vivaah:

If it's Vivaah then it has got to involve the entire family. Presently, there's an influx of guests in Zee TV's evening show Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah. Anju Mahendroo and rookie actor Priya Ahuja have now stepped into the show.

Says Priya Ahuja, "I play Sanjana and Anjuji is my mother. Sanjana and her mom have come down form Canada for their brother Rajdeep's (Sanjeet Bedi) wedding. Though she's rich Sanjana is very cute and straightforward but she often gets into a tiff with her mother."

Sanjeet Bedi replaced Vikas. Anju and Priya have walked in. However, there'll be more additions to the star cast. "Since, there'll be a wedding, guests will keep flowing. In fact, a whole new family will be introduced in the show," said Priya.

All we can say is that viewers please brace yourself one big, fat Punjabi wedding.

Pariva's bridal outfit weighs 30 kilos

Pariva Pranati who rose to fame with Salaam Zindgi, is having a tough time on the sets of her current show Vivaah on Zee. The pretty lass recently shot for her wedding sequence which was very tiring.

"The wedding sequence went on for six days. The tiring part was to wear the heavy wedding dress which weighed 30 kg," says Pariva.

Elaborating on her experience she adds, "I had to drag that costume for six days and for long hours of the shoot which drained me out completely. Wearing the dress and make-up took a long time and removing it was equally bad. Before the wedding we had mehndi and sangeet ceremony which was hectic."

The star cast of the show is working around the clock without a single off. "Yes, it's true that since one and a half month we have not got any off. This is because we are falling short of the bank of episodes," quips the actress.

"We are shooting back to back and that is also taking a toll on our health. My on screen hubby Sanjit was running a temperature of 103 degree but regardless he had to shoot for the wedding sequence. There are many other actors who are falling sick due to the changing climate and hectic schedule," she adds further.

C'mon Pariva this could be dress rehearsal for the real Vivaah. So enjoy.

Gautam Hegde chats up with 'Rajveer' a.k.a Sanjit Bedi of Vivah. Sanjit talks about his stint on the small screen and also about his next venture with Shweta Tiwari.

Sanjeevni, Saathiya, Jersey No. 10 and Vivah - all Cinevistaa shows. Are you their foster son?
(Laughs) That's a good one. Honestly, it's great working with them. They give me great roles, so why not? Oh, and don't forget Jaane Kya Baat Huyi.

Tell me about that show.
Right now, my lips are sealed but all I can say is Shweta (Tiwari) and I are both excited about it. We know you play the husband and Abhinav Shukla plays the other man in Shweta's life. Really? Anyway, let's talk about something else.

You played Dr Omi Joshi in Sanjeevni. Didn't you want to be a part of its sequel Dill Mill Gaye?
Sanjeevni is close to my heart. It gave me a huge high. No experience should be repeated. But technically, I am in Dill Mill Gaye.

What? How?
Yeah, I had adopted a son who has now grown up... I'm shown in flashes. (Laughs) And it pinched me but there is an Omi Joshi AIDS ward as well.

You don't seem to fit into a women-centric show like Vivah...
I know what you mean. I don't fit in the regular drama series mould but Rajveer is a brilliant character.

You play Abhishek Bachchan's character from Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, right?
That's for you to figure out. The story starts from where Main Prem Ki Deewani ended.

A sequel to Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon? Scary.
Ha ha! I marry a girl and later find out that she loved my namesake.

You were in two of Smriti Iraani's productions – Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman and Viruddh. Did you expect to bag a role in Waaris?
I didn't have the time. Two daily soaps don't leave you with extra time.

Is that why you're looking tired on screen these days?
That's my temperature. I've had fever for nearly 10 days now. But now it's okay — just 101 degrees.

That passes for okay?
Dude, such is the life of a daily soap actor!

You weren't seen in any film after Holiday.
(Laughs) And didn't Holiday give a holiday to the theatres?

Which is your best character so far?
The ones in Sanjeevni, Jaane Kya Baat Huyi, Thodi Si Zameen... Oh wait, Jersey No. 10.

Okay, cut. Are there scenes that bore you?
Wedding scenes can be monotonous. And then there are the scenes where you just say, "Mummyji, par… main toh… lekin…" while mummyji talks and talks.

Is it fun on the Vivah sets?
I have pretty girls around me, so yeah it's fun.

Won't your wife whack you?
She whacks me every day! She is the boss in our relationship. But I'm a lucky husband.
