The production house DJs have a good record where their shows are concerned. Some of their shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi ran for many years. But this time around they seem to have had a bit of a problem. The serial Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah is suddenly being pulled off the air. The shooting of the final wedding sequence between Anu and Aashu was completed only in the early hours of the morning yesterday. And strangely the channel(Star One) has not even planned a replacement.
Amit Verma who plays Aashu confirmed the news about the show being terminated by saying "All good things must come to an end." But he also felt it should have been phased out gradually.
This show has run into problems from the first day. Earlier the male lead role was played by Dev Keswani but some people felt he was not suitable so Amit verma was brought in. Then there was also a lot of friction between Srijita De and Ridhima Tiwari.
The low TRPs was a cause of concern for the channel and there were rumours that the show would be scrapped soon. And finally the inevitable happened. Although DJ's have refused to make any comments insiders insist that Tony Singh the producer is quite unhappy with this drastic development.
