Written Summary:
Suryakant breaks all ties with Menka and throws her out of the house. A deeply hurt Yuvraj leaves the house and while wandering the streets gets hit by a car. The family get to him in time and take him home; he escapes with minor injuries. Menka comes back home and announces that everyone are to be blamed for all that happened since it was them who wanted a son cuz of which she did what she did. The family members are shocked to hear the harsh but truth in her talks. Yuvraj and Niyati decide to leave the house, but Suryakant convinces them to stay. Next day on their way to the temple, Yuvraj sees Menka alone on the streets and runs to her. She breaks down telling him that he never cared for her. Yuvraj apologises and Savitri is moved by this. She brings Menka back home explaining how Menka alone cannot be blamed for something that they all are equally responsible for. Surya reluctantly agrees to let menka stay. Menka feels guilty when she realizes shes responsible for Karan's death. Menka tries to seek forgiveness from Laxmi but to no avail.
Aug 18th - Aug 19th - Aug 20th - Aug 21st
Menka really didn't got what she deserved. She deserved to be jailed like her brother Rasik since she shared with him the crime of killing Karan. Menka was only kiked out of the house only to be returned again to the house. I am really surprised of Savitri's changing words and actions. Once she throws her out and next brings her back. Once she says what Menka has done is unforgivablelone and the next says Menka is not to be blamed alone and that they are all equally responsible. I really don't understand why she keeps on changing. It looks like she can't reach any decision although Suriya is the only one to take any decision about Menka etc, and not her. I think this family is foolishness of bringing back Menka will cause them a much more problems than before. As I think Yuvraj also will change to be negative again. After all he is Rasik's son and he has done it before with the family.

This week was one of the most reasonable in Betiyaan. Menka finally voiced the words we all in the forum have been trying to say for so long... that Menka was wrong in what she did, but yet, even more at fault are Baa n Surya. Savitri was right by bringing Menka back, because Menka is not the only one deserving punishment. And Sav gave Baa n Surya the perfect punishment by bringing Menka back. At the same time, Menka will get her punishment by being sidelined and ignored by the family. For Yuvraj's sake as well, Savitri made the perfect decision. I'm really very impressed by this weeks Betiyaan, this really proves that our voices are heard by the creatives.
