Prem (Prem Juneja) is the 2^nd son of Lallit Juneja and Gayathri. Lallit Juneja is the M.D of a vast construction company. His family is a big one it consists of his wife, eldest son (Preet juneja) and his wife (Ashlesha), his daughter (Kuldeep) and her two kids, and his youngest daughter (Meher Juneja). Rampal is the domestic servant of the family and does all the house hold chores.

Prem is an engineering graduate and CAT aspirant and only wants two things from life:

a) A excellent career of his choice and

b) To find the right girl and fall in true love, which should ultimately culminate in

Marriage

But Lallit Junega is an over Jealous and caring father. He is the one, who finally decides what is good and bad for Prem. He does all these things without getting to know the opinions and feelings of others in the family. He chooses what shirts Prem will wear, what coins he will aim for on a game of caroms and even how big the piece he tears out of his chapathi to eat should be. It is he, who fixes the marriage of Prem with a girl, who is from a wealthy affluent family without taking into the consideration the view of Prem.All Prem does is nod his head at the decision taken by his father.

Heer is not your regular kind of girl. She loves all the simple things in life and is always full of vigor and verve. By nature, she is an ebullient and fun loving girl. The tricks, she plays in the college earn her the name of spoiled brat and quite popular with all the boys in the college. Slowly and steadily Prem is drawn towards her and expresses his feelings to her.

Heer is the only daughter to Balraaj Maan, who is a widowed and working in Endowrsement department. He loves his daughter and cares n fulfills whatever she asks. They are not like a father n daughter instead like friends.

By strange quirk of fate, Prem runs into Heer (Heer Maan) at a local temple and it is love at first sight. He is bowled over by her charm and her down-to-earth conduct.

Lallit junega comes to know of the affair and just wants Prem to back off, as his marriage preparations are already on.

What Prem will do now??? What happens next??? Will Lallit Juneja change his attitude and outlook towards life and his family members??? Will he say yes to the marriage proposal of the lovers in the end??? Will the father of Heer (Balraaj maan) agree to give away his daughter to Prem??
