Ranbir-Sonam come together again for new Yash Raj Film

Mumbai, Aug 23: After the 'Saawariya' debacle, directors shied away from casting the lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in their films. Inspite of the much-created hype, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film bombed without a trace at the Box Office. But 'Chak De' director Shimit Amin, in truly chak de spirit, has taken the onus to prove the thanda jodi hot in his next movie. The genre of the unnamed movie is still under wraps and the director is giving final touches to the flick.
Amin's next film is to be made under the banner of Yash Raj Films and Ranbir-Sonam have reportedly given their consent to the project. There has been a lot of speculation regarding the relationship of the duo. Before the release of 'Saawariya', the two childhood buddies were said to be going around, then Deepika Padukone entered Ranbir's life, putting a full stop on Ranbir-Sonam affection.
Rumour had it that post 'Saawariya', the duo was not on talking terms. Ranbir denied it in the interview and now, after their mutual consent to Amin's film, it is evident that all is well between the two.
It remains to be seen what kind of chemistry director Shimit Amin creates with the lead couple. May be Bhansali will take a lesson!
