As far as I know, the name of Shakuni's two sons were Ulook and Vrikaasur... but in this MB, they are shown as Ulook and Bulook (rhyming name 😉)... anyone who has read the epic, please throw some light on this... was it Vrikaasur or Bulook???

Shakuni had two sons: ulook and vrikasur.
I wanted to share this story which I have read, in case, some readers may be interested.
Ulook was killed by Nakul and Vrikasur was actually killed by himself---Vrikasur did tapasya of Lord Shiva and asked for a blessing that whoever's head he places his hand on, should be killed. After the blessing was granted by Lord Shiva, Vrikasur wanted to place his hand on Shivji only. Bhagwan Vishnu came to Lord Shiva's help and in the disguise of a Brahmin met Vrikasur, when the latter was looking for Lord Shiva. Lord Vishnu somehow made Vrikasur understand that probably the blessing is not going to work, and that , why doesn't he verify the blessing himself , by placing his hands on his own head. Vrikasur placed his hand on his own head and was killed.
Please correct me if this is wrong somewhere.

Hi Omshanti1111, You have written the story of a demon Vrikasur. It is true that Vrikasur was Shakuni's son but this Shakuni is not the same as the Shakuni of Mahabharat. Lord Vishnu, in his boar incarnation, killed a demon named Hiranyaksh. One of the sons of Hiranyaksh was Shakuni. This Shakuni's son was Vrikasura, who got boon from Lord Shiva. Shakuni of Mahabharat had two sons. One is known to many members here. He was Uluk. Another son was Kalikeya. Kalikeya was killed by Abhimanyu in Mahabharat war.
