Hey guys, in all the Krishna related stories I saw, its always shown Rohini and Balram were present at Nandraj's house when Krishna was brought in the house by Basudev. But here they showed that one fine day Rohini suddenly knocks the door and she joins the family. Can any one tell me which is the correct version?

What you have seen so far is correct. In fact, Rohini gave birth to Balram at Vasudev's house. Ekta mai ki leela apram paar hai. Aage aage dekho hota hai kya!!!

OK so according to our scriptures the story is this. The seventh son of Vasudev and Devki was supposed to be Sheshji. Some say that he Sheshji is Sheshnaag, he was Laxman in the Rama avatar. I am not sure about this, some one please confirm.

Anyhoo, so in the 7th month of Devki's pregnancy, Lord Vishnu asked Mahamaya to transfer the baby from Devki's womb to Rohini's (who is Vasudev's first wife) womb. Thus although Balramji was Devki's son he was born from Rohini's womb.

I hope that clarifies things for you.
