Random thoughts about BD *spoilers*

I am a Jacob fan and I think he stole the show from Edward! He sacrificed the most for love, wanted the best or the person he loved, only wanted her happiness at the cost of heart wrenching pain for himself. Only unconditional true love can much such sacrifice without even thinking. Such selfless love! I thought his character was brilliant even though I know team Edward would issue a warrant after reading this! He even came up with ideas that saved Bella when she was pregnant, and also helped keep peace between the werewolves and the Cullens and even the Volturies. I particularly did not like Bella's character when she was converted into the super powerful vampire --"the shield". I liked her vulnerable character better. I felt like SM wanted the "ugly duckling" story for her. But what's wrong being an average? I would have loved it if SM showed an average vampire can do amazing things when it comes to saving her loved ones, specially one's child. I loved Reenesme. I wish SM would write about her in future. It felt weird when Jacob imprinted on her. But it wasn't sick because he would be whatever she wants him to be..a friend, a lover, or an uncle..whatever she wishes..Again Jacob doing the best for his loved one at any cost! Do you think Jacob would really face competition from that Amazonian half vamp-half human who was the ace card in the cat and mouse game with the Volturies? I would die if that happens! Look at me, I started day dreaming about Reenesme and Jacob already ..hahahhaha I loved the humor in BD. I thought it was much better than the earlier three books. Jacob was hilarious. Specially when he hinted Charlie about Bella's "special" condition by phasing into a werewolf in front of him. Isn't he cute? I kind of didn't like the gathering of all the witness vampires and the pages devoted to them! It was necessary but really boring! The Volturi part, the convo between Leah and Jacob was boring at times!
    1. All in all I think SM did justice to this awesome love story! Don't get me wrong team Edward. I love Ed-Bells pair and loved loved their love story! It was nice to see a happy ending for everyone!

I know these are super random thoughts. But I would love to know what you guys think.

im readin breaking dawn n im loving it i love the humor its reallly great...i loved when jacob chucked " the dog tray" at rosalie....i liked bella being vampire because it was interestin on how edward still cudnt hear her at times and how she controlled herself...

but i thnk the cutest was when they gave edwad n bella that little cottage that was very sweet.

the compromise was a great idea and i like how now they came to the cullen house often 😃

i thnk book is the perfect way to end teh series...now i cant wait til she comes out wit midnight sun all bout edwards perspective

I love Jake also and I'm really happy that he imprinted 😃 I had a lot of fun reading Book Two in his perspective.... a lot of sarcasm made it funny. The wedding was pretty sweet 😳

But I still don't understand how Bella got pregnant 😕 I thought vampires had nothing human inside their bodies like blood, tears, etc so....

The honeymoon seemed too rushed....

And I felt as if Bella was lost after she turned into a vampire. She was different..... and like you said Nishi, what's wrong with being average? That's how I like Bella... average.

All in all, I don't think this was a good way to end the series. The ending was way too cliched with the "happily ever after". Bella got everything she wanted.... I feel there should've been some sacrifices, some losses. 🤔

hope I didn't ruin your mood Nishi 😆

I'm reading I haven't finished yet, I didn't really enjoy the pregnancy part, Jacob was good in that part but later on the hunting was good as well and how Bella is in her controls I enjoyed that too now I'm at that imprint part of jacob and I'm again not liking Jacob he is annoying me again but let's see what happens next 😉

Ooohhh Nishi, is this post supposed to be in the Sticky Discussions post? Dunno, but I think you can post it there too 😳
I actally disagree with quite a few things, haha 😛 Though I do definitely agree, I loved Jacob's character! Loved Jacob in general.... he's become one of my favourite characters now.
Actually, when Bella became a vampire, I too had to get used to the different things about her... but I think just being a vampire in general gives you all those 'plus points' - of being graceful, of having more pronounced senses, etc etc... if Bella was just 'average' as a vampire, or regular as she was before, then she would be different from all the other vampires, right? I would find it strange if she was still as clumsy as a vampire...
I liked the Volturi parts and the conversations between Jacob and Leah... cos those brought me back to how the other books were, then it seemed like BD was a continuation. But a lot of other things.... never mind. :P
Nice post yaar!

I agree with 1(Jacob totally stole Edward's thunder!),2,4,5 the first part of 6. =) I kinda liked the convo between Jacob and Leah. It was sort of cute.
I don't know about Reneesme. I heavily disliked the part about Jacob imprinting her. You could argue that he can become whatever she wants him to be but because her aging process is accelerated, it's pretty glaringly obvious she's going to be his girlfriend since in Meyer's world, everything seems convenient and easy. Also, Edward and Bella don't ever actually have to raise a child. Nessie seems very self-sufficient. Since she's going to be growing up so quickly, she's going to lose out on her childhood. No one has the time to take baby pictures. By her third Christmas, she's going to be on her menstrual cycle. Then she'll, most probably and most conveniently, stop aging when she reaches maturity but who's to say she wants that? What if she doesn't want ot be immortal? It all stems from the fact that Nessie's just a plot device to create a happy ending for Jacob and that's sad >.<

I agree with Isha, I want to see all that too, I mean read😆, I think it's going to be very interesting😉 although I want renesme to fell for someone else😆 because this baby thing, aahhh edward bella's daughter marrying jacob black🤢
but I also agree with shadowKisses because I don't like the imprint part, and I would never like it I guess, specially the baby part felling for a baby😡 it still irritates me, I can't really understand it any other way but disgusting.🤢
and yeah since stephenie's breaking dawn is so mature she wouldn't have problem mentioning the menstrual cycal too😡
but shadowKisses I don't agree with you that Jacob tottally stole edward's thunder I think Edward was never there in competition in breaking dawn, it was only jacob's book...
and come to comparison Jacob can never live up to what edward is in twilight😳 no matter how many breaking dawns stephenie writes for jacob, twilight will always be the best, in breaking dawn stephenie ruined edwards character 😔
