Amitabh Bachchan, the god of the Indian Film Industry was admitted in the Escorts Hospital in Delhi on Monday, November 28, 2005. Mr. Bachchan complained of stomachache and this is when Mr. Amar Singh brought him to the hospital.
The problem seems to be minor gastric trouble, which caused the pain. Although doctors say that everything is normal with Big B, they are still performing some precautionary tests just to make sure of any complications.
According to reports, Bachchan senior celebrated his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan's birthday yesterday. Adding to the festive mood, the Bachchans were to go to Haridwar to attend a family wedding but their plans got delayed due to this incident. Doctors want to test Big B so that he has no difficulties enjoying the celebration in Haridwar. Along with Amar Singh, wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda were also present at the hospital by Mr. Bachchan's side.
