Varun Badola and Rajeshwari Sachdev are looking for homes for a litter of stray pups. Any takers?

On a dark rainy evening Varun Badola and Rajeshwari Sachdev had unexpected visitors outside their ground floor flat in Goregaon - a litter of six pups. Being dog-lovers the couple didn't have the heart to abandon them so they ended up looking after them. But now they want dog-lovers to adopt them.
Recounting how the pups came under their care, Rajeshwari says, "It was raining heavily that day. A stray dog came and delivered nine pups outside my flat. Three of those pups died, but we saved six of them and started looking after them."
Adds Varun, "We both are doglovers and we don't want to leave these pups out on the roads. Let them not have a dog's life!"
But now that the pups have grown and the mother has dissociated herself from them, Varun and Rajeshwari feel it's time they are given away to people who will care.
Rajeshwari adds, "Looking after the pups hasn't been easy. Often, you will find us wearing our gloves and cleaning up their mess. But we are so attached to them and they have become part of our family. We would have kept one for ourselves but we already have a golden retriever, Sergeant. Thankfully he is getting along well with the stray pups and their mother. But now the pups need to be adopted."
