hey guys i just got some inside info about mona apurva and the show.
there is a lady here sitting and making calls and she is writer of some daily soaps. i know u may not belive me but she is from kekta camp
i cant tell her name as she might read all this and it didnt seem right but u belive me what she said.
heard her and was talkin to her asking about shows and all and if channel heads interven in stories and so on
she writes thrillers btw and was telling me one soap had started out as thriller but channel ppl wanted to make it saas bahu.
and we got around to talking about jassi and all. she said jassi had ended long back but bcoz ppl love the show so its goin on and on. she also said apu charged from the beginning 15,000per episode and mona had started with 4000 per episode and now she has 15,000 so i said why is apu not happy now she said he is on contract and he also wants increas and he was told that show is run by jassi and not by u. but he is sticking as others work for 30,000 for a mnth and wher as he is on contract so per episode he earns good.
she also says that they have new show coming up yeh tohona hi tha and may take apurva for that. that show can come up on 9.30 slot and elas wud move up
jassi can go if the trps r coming. she said in between show had taken a beating but now its coming on revenge track so its coming good now
she said there is no chance yet for show to end
she says writers make the episode and it goes to creative and production head and they hear the story and based on that they ask for changes.
the rest she was talkin about other shows and when she told me about channel ppl telling apurva show is about mona not for u i tld her channel gone mad kyaa mona is not appealin to ppl now as jassi as her character has taken nosedive and ppl quit watching jjkn after the weddin fiasco and those who watch they watch only for armaan and how can channel say that show is not running becoz of him. he is as much part of the show as mona is
she didnt hv ans to that. she is not wrkin for sony but she has lot of info.
she says rajeev khandelwal argued with ekta and she kicked him out. she is no nonsense lady. i askd her what about the rumours doin the round that actors r not paid on time on jjkn. she said ya it can be true.
so according to her show wud go on if trps r coming in. and since apurva and mona r on contract they cant work elsewhere. but now they wud find some work for apurva
and the new show yeh to hona hi tha is family drama
