Hello

I recollect a Particularly Significant Anecdote Of mine. I reproduce that here.

It was during eve of the annoucement of 10th standard examination results.

I was traveling to the capital with my Dad, And Since on the way my Dad's Brother,Uncle live just off the Highway, we went there.

After the small talks of this and that, naturally talk turned to my exam results. And My Cousin's, - eldest of us - Husband in a lighter vien said if I was infact expecting to get some where within ten places in the state. An achievement really. And I was bright enough. But knowing my difficulties and problems, and I was keyed up with tension ; I simply said Yes, with a thumbs pointing backswards , meaning I would do so starting from the other end, from Behind , Last.

Including my Uncle Dad, all had a hearty laugh.

Hello

During my school and college days, I used travel by bus in the morning and evening, afternoons Dad used to come home, since Office, College / School were in that order he used to pick us up.

One afternoon on some disagreement with Mom for some reason, I left home without lunch in a regular bus, the conductor known guy. I collected the ticket to my college and when my college stop arrived I was on the last board of the bus, my friends got in, not allowing me to get off, saying that one lecturer had gone on leave and that I join them for a movie. The Bus moved on and my friends bought all the tickets, including mine and put them inside my pocket.

The Conductor began asking ticket, ticket, implying, to buy tickets, since my ticket was re - bought I did not bother., once, twice, thrice, , he did not stop, all of a sudden, it hit me that I was supposed get off but still in the bus without ticket, according to him. In a flash I whipped out six or seven tickets in my pocket, I was on the foot board, and showed to him. He broke into smiles as he realized that my friends bought them, including mine. Even today when I see or go in his bus I recollect that moment.
