Salman reunites estranged family

Salman Khan's good nature and large-heartedness is there for all to see. His innate goodness surfaces impulsively and at the most unexpected moments. Recently, one of the contestants Bushra Sheikh revealed on his show Dus Ka Dum that she had eloped and married her husband almost a year and a half ago. Her parents and in-laws had not spoken to the couple since then. Salman surprised her the very next moment! He had her old parents meet her and reconcile their differences. Moved to tears, the parents hoped that her in laws too would forgive the couple. Salman personally appealed to the in-laws on national television to accept them into the fold. In fact he had a better idea. He suggested they celebrate the wedding with a party and also invite him. He would be there to share the moment of joy he promised.

Salman confessed that his Maharashtrian mother had eloped with his Pathan father Salim Khan many years ago and his maternal grandfather had not forgiven his daughter until after Sohail was born. Once the grand old man met Salim and got to know the man, it would be his grandfather who would send his mother back home to her husband after she went to her maayke after little tiffs with hubby!
