No celebs for Sallu

Salman Khan has been having an overdose of celebrities on his TV show, but says that they aren't the ones who make or break his show. While Dus Ka Dum (DKD) is going neck to neck with Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? (KAPPSTH), the mercurial actor turned Tv host says that he had even rejected the offer once.
"I refused to do the show at first because I wasn't keen on doing any 'TV sheevi'… and I did not even bother to hear the script. Later, I was told about the format and was given the details of the show and I fell in love with it and agreed to do it. Television today has become a very big and popular medium. But then it is not about the stars," he says.

Salman goes on to say that he's enjoying playing host. "I am enjoying being the host. My fans on the show have peppered me with a multitude of queries, which even the media hasn't been able to successfully do so far. That's the reason I want to acknowledge that TV is a strong medium," he says. "I don't need any celebrities to raise the TRPs of the show. I am good enough to handle the whole show," he concludes.
