slaps - 99 in all !!

From the promos of Ugly and Pugli, it appears that Mallika Sherawat slapped the hero 99 times during the movie. If we assume that on an average, it takes 3 takes before a shot is oked, it means that she slapped the poor chap 300 times during the shooting ! I have heard of several movies where real slaps are given by the artistes. Wonder if this was one of them. Is anyone aware ? Also is anyone aware of instances of real slaps being given in the course of shooting s scene for a movie or a TV serial. Can anyone give examples.
