hello Friends...

It's the time to disco!
Naach gaana and all that jazz, that was the scene on the sets of Grihasti the other day
Rehearsals are on since early morning for a party sequence at Veera's house, where, she will be spinning her next web of deceit. Here, Anand Suryavanshi, Aarti Singh and others are rehearsing on Mauja Hi Mauja.
Dolly Minhas, who plays the evil Veera, reads through her script mock-lamenting, "Arre, I don't get to dance, I'm supposed to be busy plotting my next move to make life hell for Simar!"
Providing a sharp contradiction to Dolly's character is the docile maa Amrit, played by Vaidehi Amrute, whose motherly instincts spill beyond the frame. She's always ready with a chip of advice or a word of care.
The dapper actor Shahbaaz Khan is the latest entrant in this show and it's just the third day of his shoot today. Shahbaaz sounds excited: "I'm playing Jaidev Khurana, an orthodox tau. Though it's a role of an elderly person there are no grey strands!"
Hmmmmโฆ now what do we make of this 'friendliness'? "Oh my God, nothing! We are just friends!" says Akshat. Now, why does this sound familiar? Akshat and Hoonar might really be just good friends but the chemistry between the two is sizzling as they go about the dance, giggling and also rebuking each other.
It's time for the main sequence post the dance, to begin and the team once again gets down to discussing their scenes โ that is some kind of a norm with this team. "It helps to perform better when we know how the other actors are going to do their stuff," says Sunila Karambalekar who plays Nacchu, the thodi-khatti-thodimeethi bua. COMPILED BY RESHMA S KULKARNI
