Being the HUGE Potterhead I am...I'd give the movie 4/5 stars.

The reasons:

NO S.P.E.W.! It's supposed to be there! It wasn't even mentioned!

Where's Winky??? and Dobby??? I was really looking forward to seeing Winky. But I was dissapointed.

They BARELY showed the Quidditch world cup! It all went by way too fast! I mean, I thought we'd actually get to see them playing Quidditch, but sadly...it was over in about 2 mins. Then the death eaters come...to fast!

Moody was screwed up! I don't remember him having a strap-on eye. Seriously! It looked like some sort of toy.

Where's Bagman? Wasn't even shown!

Where's Sirius? He was supposed to be in the movie! The third one was all about him getting out of Azkaban and he barely even in a scene.

Hermione and Ron's fight wasn't shown...there was more of a fight between Ron and Harry and not Ron and Hermione.

What about Rita Skeeter's animagus form?

i guess u mentioned most of the flaws.

here something i found weird. 1)when harry discovers crouch's body in the forest he is shown to go to dumbledores office but he does not tell dumbledore abt crouch instead he goes into the pensive

2)in the third task,in the maze there are no magical creatures at all.no blast-ended skrewts,no gaint spiders.

3)they did not show krum getting jelous of the supposed harry-hermoine love story

4)they did not show what happens to karkaroff in the end

5)they do not show the part where cornelius fudge refuses to accept that voldemort is back which i felt was excellently written in the book

6)no mention of hagrid bcoming a teacher and being a half-gaint

i guess i can go on and on abt the few details that the movie did not include.but overall an excellently made movie.the special effects wwre grand especially the quidditch world cup and the first task

it had to complete a book in a 2 hr time period of course dey cant cover it whole up naa

I agree with ya on that one! But they may just cut it off. I mean, they've already shown him dead, we don't really need Dumbledore's reaction.

Actually, I thought it was better without the monsters and stuff. If they added them in, the movie would be way too long. I men, they've already shown Harry and the dragon, Harry and the merpeople, they don't need to show excessive action. Plus, it got a lil more straight to the point.

I don't think the director/writers wanted to include a big web of love stories. Ron >> Hermione >> Krum >> jelous of Harry >> Cho >> Cedric

That's true! There wasn't much mention of him in the movie. Just a few minutes here and there.

Again, they don't need to include every little detail in the book. What's important is that Voldemort's back.

Hagrid became a teacher in the third book and they clarified that in the third movie. Therefore, they don't need to repeat it. About being half giant, I thought they covered that in the other movies.

excellent points pixiedust. but i wish they had put a bit more emphasis on the harry-cho love story. in this it just looked like a small tiny little sub-plot. in the book harry's like head over heels over her, in the film it seems that every girl harry meets has chemistry with him that the audience who havent read the book must be completely lost.

i jus want to say that tom felling is sooooooooooooooooo HOT!!
