Update for Tuesday, July 1, 2008

Opening scene: Shanti tells Anita that she knows that Manisha is Rocky's mother and asks why and how he ended up in the orphanage and how did Anitha end up taking him there? Anitha gives a modified version of the truth, saying that she met Manisha in the bus, heard the story and agreed to help her because M didn't want to go to the orphanage and leave the baby there herself, and says that the father doesn't know about the baby's existence and had to marry someone else due to changed circumstances. She claims to have no knowledge of the reason behind the Arjun-Karthik animosity. Shanthi is moved. This is where Roja would have come in with some of her witticisms. Unfortunately for all of you, I have none.

Scene 2: Narendran goes to Abirami and tells her that she underestimated his power, he knows that Kanakku's kid is in the orphanage, and that kid will one day cost SKPD his life. He tells her that the kid needs to be finished off.

Scene 3: Abirami calls Daddy on the cell phone (wonderful phone service here) and tells him that Narendran is giving her trouble. She explains the problem and SKPD says that it will be eventually good for the child (to be killed by Narendran) and she can be reunited with her dead mother, and Abirami is horrified (at least, I hope so!). She tells SKPD that they are talking about a child, and SKPD says that if that is what she wants, he will take care of Narendran accordingly.

Scene 4: AP is seen connecting the three names: ACD's killer, Narendran, SKPD and he tells his assistants that ACS and Narendran are involved. I missed some of the conversation here, but I think he tells them to question Narendran and follow him closely.

Scene 5: Shanthi is thinking about Manisha, Charu's conversation about M, Anitha's info, etc., and Karthik walks in. She tells him all that she has gathered so far, and he starts off by saying that he has never seen this Manisha and she can't be a nice girl if she had a child out of wedlock. Shanthi defends M and explains how M's lover did not know about the child and was forced to marry someone else, and so on. Karthik says that there are many unanswered questions here. Shanthi leaves, and he is thinking that he too has a past, thinks about Manisha himself and the two of them together. FREEZE.

Update for Wednesday, July 2, 2008

Looks like we may be heading towards the ending soon.

Opening scene: Trimurtis (Arjun, Anitha and Manisha) are standing,like the statue in front of Teen Murti House in New Delhi (sorry, old childhood memories coming back). Arjun knows Shanti's nature well, says she will never let go till she has found out everything, Anitha says this would never have happened if he hadn't lost his temper and confronted Karthik. Arjun says that now they have to think of what lies ahead, and focus on that instead of what has happened. They have one more problem now in the form of M's brother, so they have to be able to protect Rocky. Manisha says that she is not going to be the cause of any more problems, all these are because of her (sudden nyanodayam - konjam tube light thaan) so she is going to take some action. She says she has already applied for jobs in Mumbai, Delhi
and Bangalore, and she will take Rocky away with her. Anitha tells her to reconsider but she says that she has made up her mind.

Scene 2: Children sleeping in the arakkattalai. Narendran is shown coming up the steps. Suddenly Kanakku's child has flashes (dreams?), and then she wakes up, crying "Boochandi, Boochandi, Amma, amma, ..." and M's mother rushes up to her. RK also wakes up and comes rushing in and realizes that the child is talking. He asks Kalima how this happened, and she says the child had a nightmare and started talking. Nallan also comes in and RK tells him that the child is talking. No signs of Narendran in all this, was he eavesdropping? That seems to be the hallmark of this show and many others.

Scene 3: RK tells Abirami to tell her the good news of Kanakku's child regaining her speech, and Abi is speechless. RK comments on this, and Abi is thinking of Narendran saying that if the child names him as her mother's killer, he will point to SKPD in turn. Abi thanks him for the good news, then she calls Daddy. Daddy says he will take care of it. I may have missed something here, did I? Please fill in, if I did.

Scene 4: JC meets ACS and asks him if there have been new developments. ACS tells him about Kanakku's child having regained her speech, (evidently RK has been doing the job of the media and broadcasting the news everywhere) and JC tells ACS to go and get the child. ACS goes there, and RK is initially hesitant about sending the child, so ACS calls JC and JC personally talks to RK, so he agrees. He sends the girl with one of the attenders from the arakkattalai. By the way, does this word mean orphanage, or is it for any charitable trust? My knowledge is a little (okay, a lot)weak. ACS takes the two of them in the police car.

Scene 5: Abi goes to the arakkattalai and asks RK about the girl, but he tells her that the girl has gone to the police station for some questioning. Abi is worried and leaves.

Scene 6: Narendran being questioned by AP. AP accuses him of having amassed wealth by being a goonda and a gang leader, of being Vedimurugan's killer, and of being in touch with SKPD. Narendran denies everything, AP produces proof of the various properties owned by N in various family members' names, N denies this too and claims to be an honest police officer (and I am only 15 years old!) and then AP brings up the affair of kanakku's wife. Once again, N denies it and then AP says that there is evidence, calls for the lights, and the lights reveal Kanakku's daughter, flanked by JC, ACS and Indran standing there. Narendran is staring ...

Ok folks Nari sings - recap of kanakku's kid with JC and ACS -
Thillalangadi Pandian informs Nari that there is a witness
- lights come on - chella kutty points her finger at Nari and
says "amma vai konna bhoochi" a few times ( Roja is feeling bad,
make a child go through all this??? She has to say this - either CR
has no children or his children are plain unlucky to have a dad like this - money can make people to stoop to such low levels??? uh huh)
Nari has no escape route available and so cuckoos "yes sir, I killed kanakku's wife but SKPD is the brain behind this" Now comes the fun part - Nari is let free by JC and co but why??? JC says that he will be punished for sure but wants him to be loyal to his police dress at least once - " bring SKPD out , Ok? You will also be punished but will have the honor of nailing a big time rogue, say what??" Nari agrees -( Roja sits ...biting her nails.. CR again goes back to square one....awwww.)
Just to ease Roja's tension JC goes on " if u plan to either warn SKPD or try to escape , be rest assured that there will be a news flash about a police officer dying in an encounter, got it?" (Roja frets...that is all......what if he harms the child??? Roja has no trust in CR's police force!!!) Nari leaves. JC congratulates thillalangadi Pandian
Roja grrrrssss Fortunately all this is video taped - some fore thought!!!

Sameer watches Manisha leaving her home - after she leaves , he opens the door as if it is his own home and knows where exactly Mani has kept the photograph - Karthik and Mani smiling ( a basic doubt for Roja...Rojaaa vendaam ..vittudu....sonna kekkara janmamaa nee?? hmmmm - if Mani wants to keep the man of her life as a defense secret, why does she leave the photo so casually that all and sundry can look when ever they want?? what if ex Omni breaks in like Sameer?? All of us know that she is capable of this and more!!! She just has to say one word, shadow will break in even if he knows it is Mani's place!!) Well, Sameer has a good look at baggage, vows to kill him asap -" I am hanging around here only for finishing you off" ( so now, I guess we all know who will die😳😳)

The next segment is all about flash backs - we are treated to the first meeting of Priya and ACD - Priya making the traffic offense and ACD confiscating her mobile....thayir vadai sagitham office visit... serving coffee at home when ACD's parents are away.... Roja could see the chemistry between them...agrees whole heartedly that they are made for each other😳😳

Next it is Nari's turn - recalls the nailing by Alex....gun.... table..... bingo shoots himself ( JC , u can start sucking your thumb - u are back to square one - Alex, intha SKPD yai epdiyaavathu pidikkanum, meeting podalaam vanga.... pochu da..... vetti meetings..... Roja has her hands on her head......) People around hear the gun shot ..walk in to Nari's house - as the houses in the serial never close their main door...
some one makes a call...Roja hopes that the common man is smarter than the police and presumes that the police are being called..

Presiding Omni with Manisha - Manisha sadly informs that ex Omni got scent of her life. Presiding Omni is happy and says that ex has the acumen to poke her nose in every thing - personal or other wise -
" I learnt a few tricks from her, u see.." Manisha says that ex is bent upon uniting Mani with her estranged lover - presiding chides herself for not thinking in those lines -" che, senior Omni senior Omni thaan, ithu enakku thonaliye!!" Now Manish spills the beans - " Karthik than ennoda lover..." ( oh ok, so presiding does not know this fact!!! they did not talk about this during break time - Vsur, baklava vai eduthu fridge le vaippa, next time venum nna keppa Roja😳😳)Presiding Omni is agape.... forgets to close her mouth before the camera freezes....

Update for July 3, 2008

Some small consolation for those of us who are hoping to see ACD and Priya together was present in today's episode.

Opening scene: Narendran sees Kanakku's daughter, flanked by JC, ACS and Indran. AP tells N that they have evidence that he killed Kanakku's wife, and the little girl says, "Boocha ammavai konnu, boocha ammavai konnu ...". Narendran admits that he killed her, but says he was told to do so by SKPD. JC tells him that he will have to be punished, but some of his sentence can be pardoned if he brings in SKPD, and he agrees to do so, out of respect for his uniform (Really, and where was the respect all these days? In hiding?). I really love the instant repentance that these criminals show on these TV serials.

Scene 2: Sameer enters Manisha's house. He is shown observing the house from an open window, and then Manisha leaves the house. He forces open the lock, then enters and searches her room. Wonder where Arjun's mother was doing while all this happened, and why Manisha had to lock the house when A's mother is usually in the house? The house looked different, though, has Manisha moved to another house? Oh well, don't look for logic, the producers don't even know the meaning of that word. Anyway, Sameer finds the photo of Karthik and Manisha and now he knows who Manisha's lover is, or was, and he swears to find him.

Scene 3: Priya reminiscing about the past. Some of these scenes were from their first meetings. Since I was not watching this show then, I thought they made a cute couple and the scenes looked good and it was a good attempt to keep the ACD magic alive, even if he is still being shown in the ICU. The thayir vadai and ice cream scenes were all there, and poor Priya is shedding tears and thinking about the past.

Scene 4: Narendran thinking about his past actions. He is thinking about how he was the one to tell SKPD to go into hiding, and then he takes off his cap, picks up his gun and holds it to his head. A loud blast is heard, and all the people in the street rush into the house, and of course, the door was left conveniently open as always. Someone calls a number on his cell phone, I am guessing he is calling the police. Why was there no policemen watching him and his house? Oh, of course, CR likes to portray the TN police as being totally inept.

Scene 5: Charu and Manisha. Both take turns at heaving great big sighs, and then Charu want to know what the matter is. Manisha says the problem is that C told Shanti everything. Charu thinks it is good that Shanti went to meet M, and says that once Shanti decides to do something, she won't rest till she does it, or it gets done somehow. Manisha tells her that that's the whole problem, Charu knows only part of the story, and what she doesn't know is that Karthik is Rocky's father. The camera zooms on Charu and her heavily mascaraed eyelashes, with the chant of "Maangalyam thanthuna ..." in the background. FREEZE

Now please don't tell me that they are going to show K getting married to M. I am sick of these men marrying two women on SunTV.

Happy independence day to our American friends! Aralyn, you have earned baklava for yourself!

Replay of last scene from 3 July. Total waste of 3 mins. After Manisha has revealed the identity of Rocky's dad, busybody New Omni seeks to know how Manisha and Baggage had met. Flashback to Baggage being hurt in war, being saved by Mani and the overplayed rose throwing scene by Baggage (good for fans of Karthik, if any. Saving grace for me – the heart-warming shennai music in the background; kudos to Kiran.)

AP, JC and AC Shankar waiting at the hospital where Nari's body has been brought for a post-mortem. ACS wonders why Nari should commit suicide. He says he had moved close enough to Nari to have a chance to study his character (AP and JC give him quizzical looks at this point) and had concluded that Nari was extremely self-centred. Even if Nari had been in cahoots with SKPD he had no emotional bond with him, so he would not have had any compunctions about turning in SKPD. It was therefore puzzling why Nari would kill himself, ACS concludes. He then suggests that Nari could have killed himself because of family problems. AP then declares that it could not have been a suicide but a murder. JC and he agree to wait for the post-mortem report before they reach any conclusion.

Abhi is scanning the newspapers and is shocked to read the report about Nari's suicide. Sarasu comes in and asks why Nari's photo was in the papers, was he getting any commendation. Abhi mentions his death. Sarasu wonders whether his death would pose problems for SKPD and Abhi. Abhi says that's the question that's troubling her. She fears the police will have unfounded suspicions implicating her father though she also thinks Nari's death is a good turn of events. Abhi then extracts a promise from Sarasu not to reveal to the police that Nari had been regularly visiting them (of course, the inept police haven't been watching Abhi's residence to notice how frequently he had been visiting). When Sarasu has left, Abhi wonders whether there was any link between Kanaku's child being able to speak again and Nari's death. She wonders how much Nari had spilled to the police before kicking the bucket. She then calls SKPD on his phone to forewarn him of Nari's death (is Abhi using a pre-paid card?). But the omnipotent SKPD already knows and says Abhi should not be calling him often and quickly cuts off the line.

Arjun, Anitha and Mani in conference. Mani has got a transfer to some other city and plans to take Rocky with her for treatment. Arjun and Anitha are unhappy with the decision. Just then, Rocky's doctor comes in, as requested by Arjun. His counsel is that since Rocky is suffering a major illness, which could take a critical turn anytime, it would be best to continue treating him in Chennai. He says Anitha can continue looking after Rocky, as she used to. Doctor then excuses himself. Arjun says Mani should not unnecessarily risk Rocky's life just so that she can save Shanthi's marriage and that they should just let things be and see how they work out.

Srini visits Abhi and asks why in soga kattam. Abhi mentions Nari's death. Srini then spouts great wisdom. He says he who sows will reap the consequences; Nari waas evil, so he had to bear the consequences of his actions and why should Abhi bother, he asks. Abhi says you and I were both evil, so will we also reap the consequences? Srini says it's all about "survival of the fittest", as the good Charles Darwin had said. Everyone has to struggle to survive and how one struggles depends on circumstances. What really matters is whether one survives or not; the means don't matter; only the end result. This is indeed what the Bhagavad Gita also says, he declares. (Wow, what philosophy, Srini!) Srini then says he suspects Nari was murdered. He claims this is also the talk of the town and that his hunch is that SKPD was behind the murder. He suggests that Abhi seek her lawyer's advice. He leaves behind an Abhi with her famous constipated look.

AP and JC in conference. AP receives the post-mortem report. He shows the report and photos of the dead Nari to JC and says his hunch was right that Nari had indeed been murdered. JC asks him to explain. AP says the photo shows bleeding on the right temple; the post-mortem shows that the bullet has remained lodged in his head; it had not exited out of the left temple; and Nari's records show that he was left-handed, so he could not have shot himself (Eljay, you were quite observant; good logic for once, CR and creative heads!) Freeze.

Sameer comes into the arakkattalai and Kalima sees him. He brandishes a revolver and tells her that he is going to kill Karthik, and shows her the photo he swiped from Manisha's room. Meantime, RK hears some noise and comes upstairs. He calls Nallan, who also comes there. Sameer warns his mother to keep quiet, or else he will have to use his gun, and hides. RK and Nallan come up, ask Kalima what happened, and she says she heard some noise, but it was nothing. They also do not see anyone, so they go back.

Thillalangadi Pandian with his cronies - " we now know that Sameer is the one who shot ACD - but I have a lot of queries. Is Sameer alone?? only ACD is the target? how much is the involvement of SKPD??Why did he call SKPD as soon as he shot ACD? "motive" enna?? Is Sameer hiding with SKPD?? and if so where??Does he have any other name in his hit list??? if so, are they just police personnel?? some other outsiders?? we need answers for all this..." One crony smartly says that if Sameer is caught all these will be answered. But AP throws ice cold water on that hope - "he is a terrorist, u can't expect him to sing so easily.. and even if we catch him, until we get all this nfo, we can not make the news public..." JC walks in - asks AP about the progress. AP says that things are moving well and expresses his doubt -" SKPD might be hiding near the sea shore, sir." JC asks AP to seek the help of coast guards and AP has done it already -" we saw an empty launch ... we are at it, sir" JC has a good news to Bon and other die hard ACD fans -" Durai is improving and the doctors are confident that he will get well soon".

Ammi jaan is restless - waits for Mani who walks in casually. Ammi jaan is breathless and reports that she saw Sameer. must be about She says that Sameer has Karthik's photograph and he is out to kill Karthik - at any cost. Ammi wants Karthik to be warned some how. Mani has no clue as to how to do it.

Mani is waiting for shadow and Anitha - both come rushing. Mani imparts all the news she learnt from ammi jaan. Anitha says that the only avenue now is to go to the police. Mani does not want to take that route -" Sameer is already in the CBI list - let them catch and execute him, we need not interfere" She further clarifies that she is not worried about Sameer's death -" just that , we will have to explain about Rakhi, myself ... to the police and what will happen to ex omni's life?? so, the police route is not advisable" Shadow agrees with Mani - " we will pray that Karthik is safe and hope that he can take care of himself" ( apdi podu, Roja understands ...if u have to depend on CR's police force...u are better off without them anywhere in the vicinity😳😳) Mani is restless.

Baggage is cleaning his pistol - ex Omni brings some coffee - looks like he always gets some kashayam labeled as coffee and today seems to be a lucky day!! He appreciates the coffee to be "parava illai" - Ex Omni wants to know why the sudden attention for the pistol and baggage says that he needs to renew the license. Ex wonders if army men also need a license and baggage confirms that they should also abide the law. Baggage offers to take wife and daughter for a movie but Indhu is in maanga's house - enjoying the freedom. Karthik asks about Rakhi - "have been wanting to see him, how is he??? paavam orphan boy....suffering with such a disease..." Ex chides hubby -"do not call him an orphan..." Now baggage wants to know more details " any news about his dad??? Did Mani trace him?" Omni just makes a casual statement -" athu theriyalai, paavam antha kOdile irunthu intha kOdikku vanthu, Mani is suffering.." Baggage needs explanation and is told that Mani is from Kashmir. Ex Omni leaves so that baggage can have a moment alone to recall his Kashmir - the viewers have been through it so many times by now....hurt karthik, Mani picking him up.....
habbaaaa...... Baggage is thinking....

july 8th:

Baggage takes a diary from his cupboard - ennakku bakku bakkunu irundhadhu, nalla velai Ka(jal)Ka(rthik) photo ange illai 😆. There is a telephone no of one Vijayakumar , who turns out to be his army colleague. Soldier mama cautiously goes to the telephone and calls him and enquires about Kajol alais Manisha. Vijaykumar seems to know about their affair 'onna nenacha avala marakka mudiyuma' kinda of reply - my one rupee sandhegam, then Omni's first husband Vijay didn't know about this?? Vijayakumar promises to find out and let Karthik know about Kajol. Baggage is shaving his clean shaven face and again flashes of Manisha and him together - the telephone rings and Omni picks it up. It is Vijayakumar reporting about Kajol. Soldier mama comes and takes the receiver and as Shanthi leaves he says ,'wife poitta, nee sollu'. Omni being Omni, hears this stops and turns around. Vijayakumar has nothing more to say that he couldn't find out where Manisha, Sameer or ammijaan went,elder brother is dead. He puts down the phone and Omni teases????? him why he is so tensed with the call.

Vasu and Ansari (artists changed) go to the meenavar kuppam where few fishermen are playing cards and enquire about SKPD with his pic. The facial expression of one man in the group ( guess he is the local grocer) raises AP's aides' suspicion and they decide to cast the net for the fellow.

AP and aides go to Narendra's house - some dialogues with the neighbours - couldn't make out head or tail of the conversation- they go inside and AP makes it a point to remind us again that Nari didnot commit suicide and they go around the room, house, terrace.... and he asks his aides to bring some reports.

Arjun is somewhere outside shopping and he gets into his car. He sees Sameer in his rearview mirror and decides to follow Sameer ( gnyabagam varudhe gnyabagam varudhe gnyabagam varudhe - idhe pola Joe vai kooda Arjun followed in his bike in close range and kottai vittufied 😳 ) Sameer knows he is tailed , so stops his bike and jumps over a compound wall. Arjun arrives and walks ,jumps and runs around, but doesnot see Sameer. Sameer gets up from behind the wall - 'nee veraya? naan innoru kolai pannanuma?' - freeze

july 9th:

Spill over from yesterday - Arjun and Sameer. As usual Arjun 'leaves fort' 😛 - kottai vidaran. Kannukku edhira than Sameer marupadi bikela ponaan, aana Arjun car eduthuttu thoratthaama beh beh nu muzhiccha, kottai vidaadha enna panradhu?

SKPD in his boat. The 'grocery' informer arrives and informs him that AP's aides are scrutinizing the sea side with SKPD's photo. Singam calls Abhi. She is worried Nari cud have spilled the beans before his death. SKPD asks her not to worry. SKPD has jaladhosham - looks like he goes deep diving when ever a patrol boat comes 😆.He asks Abi to send some money throught the fellow who gave her the SIM card.( I guess having nothing else to do, SKPD and adiyatkal wash clothes, add blue and dry in nalla sunlight - ithana naal kadalla irundhalum ethanai vellaiya irukku ivanga veshtiyum sattaiyum?)naan uniforms konjam anupalama? 😳

Ex Omni goes to Anitha's place and requests Manisha to preside over Indu's birthday next day at 12.30? ( madhiyama illai rathiriya?) Chumma chumma Karthik unnai parkanum sonnaru nu solli solli, thirumba thirumba invite panra. So marupadi ex omni is trying for reelection. Manisha says 'maximum vara try pannaren'. Arjun mother sees all this from above with erichal- oorukku pogalaiya andha amma?

Commish office - A policeman is singing praises of AP to ACS - 'jalra thattama police velai paarungappa' - ACS is irritated. AP and team arrive. AP meets Commish & JC and handsover the confession of Nari and proves Jamuna's innocence. Commish decides to revoke her suspension.

Charu at her residence with her laptop. PA Madhan arrives. Charu tells him about some doctor who has agreed to perform operation on ACD and asks him to follow up with the doctor.Now Madhan becomes mouthpiece of JC & reports to Charu about Jamuna's reinstatement. Charu is pleased. Jamuna calls madam from Malaysia. Charu wonders when she became madam from amma? - aiyo idhenna pudu kadhai? is Charu Dhatthu amma of Jamuna?
Charu - enna honeymoon ponavanga kuzhandaiyoda than vara poreengala? Amam madam - (adipaavi 9 maasa honey moona? Doctor thozhila marandutaara? 😆 )Charu is happy to become a paati, but Jamuna says she wishes for a daughter whom she wud name Charulatha. Charu says the name is unlucky.Jamuna matter now over, Charu wonders aduthaapla ACD - Priya kalyanam than... mmmmm?


AP, aides and armed men arrive at Sameer's place and search room after room. No Sameer 😭. The house owner comes and says there is no Sameer, but an Imran staying there. AP comes out of the house and keeps looking at the house - why? appo thane Sameer can see him from his maruthi omni car from the theru munai! adhanala than 😛 - freeze

Thursday 10/7/08

Thillalangadi Pandian is being watched by Sameer - who is safe inside a white Maruthi Van - AP gives a profile pose - Sameer gets a good luck (so adutha target AP ya??)

Anitha is getting ready - Arjun is impatient -shouts a few times, "ready aa??" Anitha is still not done with her accessories - Mani is ready in a pink chudithar. All leave - Arjun's mom gives a disgruntled look ( athu sari, Mani will be seen by baggage - has CR decided to break the ice??? no more carousel ride??!!! Roja can not believe her luck!!)

AP with his cronies - Ganesh reports that they have counted the boats - out of 10, 9 are accounted for - 1 is a mystery (athu sari - even if u ask kanakku's little girl she will know !!) Now AP decides that SKPD is in that boat - Ganesh says that SKPD is beyond their reach but AP is optimistic - "if he were in the land, he can move around a lot but now he has made our job easier - thookidalaam"

Nallan and maanga - Maanga instructs Nallan to stop the activity in the kitchen for the day. Nallan is surprised and is told that ex omni is sponsoring the lunch -"Indhu kku B'day, athaan, I am also going there. I will bring food for all of you" ( ex Omni sponsoring aam, maanga also has decided that Karthik is just a baggage -- atta boy... is able to see fact with a straight eye!!) Mani lands there - Maanga tells her that he is going to ex omni's house and asks Mani to come along. Mani half heartedly refuses -"Shanthi kooda sonnanga.... na ethukku?? I have a lot of work... ( maanga kku no work nnu indirect aa solraala??) Maanga forces Mani and takes her along.

Karthik , Indhu and Shanthi - some light hearted banter - Anitha and Arjun arrive - Shanthi is disappointed that Mani is missing - Anitha says that Mani is off to Trivandrum. Arjun turns his face away when he sees Karthik - finally all go in.

Abi, Cheenu and the advocate - advocate says that he has done his job of getting an extension for the bail - "I can not keep saying that he is in the ICU of a Coimbatore hospital. He better surrender in the court. Once that is done, we can try to move him to the General hospital. Talk to him and let me know, I will come after that" - Abi is very angry with the advocate and shouts - advocate is done - he leaves. Srini says that they need an advocate who is not just an advocate -"we are all born criminals and so we need one who can do criminal acts as well. I have a guy in mind, what say??" Karthik's house - preps are on for the party. Mani calls Anitha and tells her that maanga forced her to attend the party -" I am coming there" - Anitha frets, consults Arjun who has no clue - as both are discussing ex omni comes in with baggage - Arjun says that Mani's flight ticket has some problem and Shanthi is happy that Mani can attend the party. Karthik gets a call from his friend Vijayakumar who is in Madras - Vijay is invited for the party but he says that he is leaving Madras in an hour - " why don't u come here?? I have info on Kajal" Karthik agrees. Approaches Shanthi and says that he has to go to meet a friend. Omni vetoes....Anitha and Arjun goad Shanthi to accept .. "must be some urgent work, he promises to be back soon..." Omni is not happy....'apram unga ishtam.." Mani..car.... Recap of baggage requesting ex omni -'time out please" (uh huh, what luxury?? mannn... Roja wishes that she could ask for the same from CR!!!) Ani and shadow recommend vigorously -" pizhaichi porom naanga, baagage ai anuppidunga, nanga Mani yai seekiram pack pannidarom" - Baggage leaves..... his car gets out and maanga's car enters...(awwww what timing??? CR has decided to keep Mani as a cliff hanger... for how long??) Ex omni invites Mani with open arms. Ex being omni, wants to know as to how Mani landed at maanga'splace - "u were on your way to the airport!!" Maanga is surprised to hear
"the airport" interjection but shadow and Anitha have become adept at covering up (thanks Mani, we developed some new skill!!) The photographer is targeting Mani - shadow draws Anitha out - " make sure that Indhu's B'day album has no Mani, ok?"

Priya calls to wish Indhu - ex wants to know about her arrival. Priya says that she is waiting for presiding Omni -" will come as soon as she leaves" Ex asks about ACD - Priya says that things are getting better - doctor says that Charu is bringing a doctor from overseas - "once the surgery is done, he will be fit as a fiddle" Ex omni borrows the crystal ball from Roja -" ellam sariya poidum, CR will send him on wild goose chase pretty soon,do not worry'

Charu comes along with loser ( he fits the nick shadow better , now) Meets the chief doctor and informs about the arrival of the foreign doctor - goes to visit ACD - ttttaadddaynnngggg we see a clean shaven ACD lying down - eyes closed...mask in place - so much like the picture in Giri's poosutral ( Giri, chellam, unakkum oru crystal ball kidaichi duthaa?? ipdi oru picture perfect monument imagine panni ezhuthi irukke!!!) Priya also looks cheerful for a change ( does she want to shed the title of azhu moonji??) reports to Charu that ACD is out of his coma stage. Maanga calls loser asking him to come asap for the party. Charu decides to tag along -"unga appa varaara???" ( enna Charu madam, some secret crush??)

Party - maanga is upset that baggage is delayed. Ex omni calls hubby and he says that he is on his way back. An adept Anitha and shadow pack off Mani - "45 mins...flight... Mani to leave..." well, Mani does a chayng chaak.... she gets packed off - same shot ( CR is running out of ideas - for sure - but what baffles Roja is that he does not think twice about exposing his weakness!!! athu sari, nothing can be more weak than the serial itself!!) Party continues.....cake is cut.

Kanakku's child with JC and AP - JC chuckles - " one whole lot of police force headed by the able ACD could not nail SKPD - this small little girl did the trick!! It is true that kozhandaiyum deivamum onnu". The little girl's name is Madhavi ( Roja is happy, at last the name!! the kid is too cute to go without a name) Her relatives have come to take the kid away - they live near Vellor ( Roja frets, no witness protection for the kid??? What if SKPD's long hands reach Vellor??) AP and JC discuss - AP assures that SKPD is fine and is in touch with Abi - "she seems calm, not worried about dad's safety..." JC agrees. Just then a court order gets delivered to AP - Abi's advocate has sent a notice saying that SKPD is under the custody of the police. " both Abi's and SKPD's lives are in danger. Please produce SKPD in the court within 10 days of this notice" AP applauds that it is a smart move but JC labels it as a criminal move.

A fellow from the seaside is brought to AP - On the other side,the police are doling out third degree to a criminal. The meenavar kuppam fellow sweats..AP comes there and asks " enna yya?? athu mathiri unakkum kudukkalaama??" - nooo ... the fellow is not ready for such a treat ..happily sings..AP asks " nanga raid pona pothu, SKPD was not in the launch??" The guy says that SKPD has made arrangements to hide under water for half an hour. Finally an important info is given to AP -" I bought a prepaid sim card for Abi" - AP gets the number..... all gets video taped....
