july 14th:

Keeping the update short

AP visits Abi. Abi is making fun of the police department - eppadi ungale vecche enga ppava bathirama padhukaakka vechhome kinda of kokarippu. AP says he would easily disprove the fact that SKPD is in CBE ICU and what would Abi do if the launch of SKPD were supposed to have barrels and barrels of inflammable material and the launch goes up in flames, then the case can be easily closed. Abi is shocked. She is shocked more when AP says he has the exact location of SKPD, how he goes deep sea diving and about the SIM given to Abi. He says it would be better for her to make him surrender.

Abi calls up Singam and says - Singam should always be a singam and not a thannilerndu etti parkara thavalai- either u surrender or i die. This phone conversation heard by JC and AP,the former as usual congratulating the latter. JC is now worried, even if SKPD surrenders, they donot have much against him. AP says they can bring in the call taxi driver who transported othaikai and Kanakku and include SKPD in the murder of OKS. Call taxi driver is brought to court and he testifies how SKPD kolapannified OKS. The court orders arrest of SKPD.

ICU - as usual eyeballs roll, eyebrows move, hand twitch -inikku additionala pasu maadu (cow) kanakka ( sorry Bon😕) ACD maa maa maa nnu polambal. Sound proof?? ICU kku veliye irukkara Priya kku indha low polambal kettu odi vandhu

I am so irritated that some 'cake' is taking all the credit while the other man has become a monument in the ICU

Wed July 23

RK's/Abhi's former house gate opens and Manisha walks in. She reports to her amma that it was Sameer who had tried to kill Karthik (how did she know?). Senti dialog lines.

Madan arrives at Charulatha's house. Brief discussion about attack on Karthik. Madam consoles him that Alex is investigating and Madan echoes that he is impressed by AP. (adaa adaada .. enna build up) Madam then enquires about ACD's operation .. "when is "Dr Anthony" ..?' No more "Dr Char-less" .. looks like CR's informer gave Madam/CR a feedback on this! lol Madan informs her that Dr Anthony is going to perform the surgery tomorrow at 6:30pm.

Alex and aides are sitting down and talking to Baggage about the attack on him. Baggage cannot id the person and neither can he guess the motive. Alex or his aide speaks out that maybe this attacker was avenging the death of the former Joe by Baggage. Baggage too admits that he had thought of the same point. Oru mukkiyamaana saidhee. Baggage's Army friend did not reveal ANYTHING important about Manisha to him when they met on Kutti sathan's b'day.Either that or being AWOL from the Army (how else would you explain his prescence in Chennai?) has affected Baggage's short term memory.

Manisha's amma is alone in her room and flashback of Sameer appearing there and revealing that he knew who had cheated Manisha, etc. Manisha in her room having a similar flashback of first noticing Sameer from the back of his Omni and later Sameer vowing to finish off Baggage, then Rocky and finally her.

Continuation of Manisha and her mom's meeting..Amma drags her outside to garden and continue conversation. Manisha finally tells her mom she doesn't anything to happen to Baggage and hence has made a decision. Mom knows her decision without her verbalising it!

A van similar to Madam's pulls up in front of hospital and Dr Anthony & associate alight. They come in and are introduced to all Drs first. Next to greet them are Madam ("Hello, Dr Anthony..") and Madan. Dr Anthony is taken to ACD's bedside and chief Dr discusses his case including opening up his neck wrap and showing the location of the wound. Odd.. Dr surgery panna poraarunnu ninaichaen, anaa X-ray onnum kaanlaiyae!/[color>

ue]AP and his aides disucssing who Karthik's attacker could be. AP reveals that besides the angle of a revenge of Joe's death, he thinks there may be another reason for the attack. Just then he is informed that a lday by the name Manisha wants to meet him. He sends his aides away and Manisha comes in. She introduces herself, her background, meeting Baggage in Kashir, etc. She concludes that Sameer is her brother, out to finish off Baggage. She has only one request for AP and that is to not reveal in writing her relation to Karthik, or Karthik's Kashmir history, or let this leak in any news item. She adds that Omni would not be able to handle it and neither will she keep quiet (hint: suicide). She leaves and AP is lost in thought. Freeze.

Fri July 25

Continuation of scene in ex-Omni's house. To her ques on whether AP knows the id of the attacker, AP keeps mum. He instructs her to let Baggage know that the police want to give him protection. He adds that Baggage should not go on long distance travel, etc. AP & team leaves.

RK's kid care center. RK is upstairs in a balcony watching the kids run around and play. Kitchen (Nallan) comes over with a cup of coffee and interrupts him. RK guesses correctly that Kitchen has something in his mind and listens to him mention that Hindi-kari amma has a paasam for one boy, and its not just piriyam! Its Rakki. Also, whenever Manisha comes over, they both move to a room and talk privately. He adds that if he is nearby they switch over from Tamil to Hindi! RK takes note (but is clueless, if I read him right.)

Hospital. Chief & 2nd Dr are examining ACD who seems to be asleep. Appa and Priya are waiting outside. Drs come out and chief tells them ACD is recovering fine and that he has instructed that he be moved to normal room (meaning, out of ICU). ACD is moved and appa & Priya walk in to his room. Dr look at them and asks them to talk to him to help him wake up. Appa calls out "Durai" and ACD slowly opens his eyes. He sees appa first and then Priya next to him. His eyes seem to be searching for his amma and appa lies that amma has gone on yaathirai so that Durai would recover well.

Abhi, Srinivasan and lawyer are discussing on how to get SKPD free. Srinivasan & lawyer mention that AP is very smart, which makes Abhi more angry. Lawyer points out that they had not even considered the taxi driver testifying against SKPD while AP followed that up and snagged SKPD. Finally Srinivasan comes up with an idea to get some heart special Dr to give a statement indicating that SKPD hails from so many ailments and that he is a heart patient, so that they can get SKPD out on bail. Lawyer cautions Abhi that they should make sure AP does not know about this.

JC at Commish's office and AP walks in. They wonder about Karthik's attacker and if he would attack him again. AP assures them that the attacker is probably lying low due to the police paadhugaappu. JC & AP conclude that the best way to catch Sameer is to use the public to id him. They decided to publish wanted signs in newspapers, etc. since AP believes Sameer is hiding in general public now.

AP walks in to Cheif Dr's office in ACD's hospital. Dr tells him that ACD is recovering but cannot get regular visitors. AP wants to talk to him briefly and Chief allows him. Priya is feeding ACD milk - adaadaa enna romantic scene. lol AP walks in and Priya steps away. AP introduces him and praises ACD for being such a brilliant officer. He then gets to the point and shows him a folded newspaper with a wanted/Rs 1 lakh reward article with Sameer's photo. He tells ACD that he just needs one help from ACD and asks if the man in the photo was the one who had attacked him. ACD has flashback of getting shot in his car and then sardar Dr (Sammer) in the hospital room. He then nods and AP thanks him.
